  • why the hell am i watching this i am fucking weird

  • "Homosexual or lesbian"

    hahaha

  • the parents seem to be blaming themselves???? this is a mental disorder. a pill, some shots, and good as new

  • @SuperSharain

Wrong. Pills and shots won't do shit. Do some research before you make statements like that.

  • Right there. At 1:10 - 1:14 ish. The mom says "I can't think of anything in your past that would have given us any clues". Oh thank Jesus thank youuu Jesus. I'm not even Christian but I am transgender and sometimes paranoid that I fooled everyone my whole life, and that I'm not even a real transgender cause I hear all these other cases of people showing obvious signs. I'm so glad she said that. It's the same with my mom too.

  • @CatFlashBlue i thought the something, my mom had the same reaction

  • Well, just because she's a girl doesn't mean she has to be feminine. But I get what her parents mean.

  • maybe he's a butch lesbian like me! ^^

  • Years ago when I was ignorant about certain things I would have been a parent against my child being what is in their heart.

I can say now that if had a child as long as they were happy I would be happy for them,

    Great video.

  • sad

  • I was kind of gender neutral. I knew how a boy was supposed to act and emulated it best I could, however more than once my sister's caught me playing with barbie's or trying to get in with their friends.

  • I recently had the privilege of seeing this incredible film at Tampa's CLIP Film Festival, and also of meeting Gwen. My advice to all is SEE THIS FILM ! I loved it ! And thanks again to Gwen for sharing her story with all.

  • touching

  • Looking forward to seeing the whole thing. I like what I've seen so far... looks really well made and super important. Thanks for posting!

  • Hi TrueRedAngel! Thanks for the response. I need to apologize, because I should have contextualized the clip more. And thinking back on it, perhaps the initial title "Don't Change" was too heavy handed. My parents have truly come a long way from their initial responses. My mom will even be presenting the film at an LGBT Film Fest later this month, with my girlfriend's mom. I'm really proud of her. Again, thanks for the comment, as I'm new to youtube and learning as I go!
