I was on the train a couple of weeks ago, listening to FSOL and reading William Gibson and thinking about how th dangerous new future seemed a lot more imminent then than now.
Hey everybody - I just released my solo album "Mirror Image" that contains electronic upbeat and ambient songs heavily inspired by The Future Sound of London. If you're interested you can check out the songs on my youtube page, and links to my myspace page and places to download the full album are on my youtube channel as well :) .
FSOL.. the Orb .whom ive met.. btw.. Orbital .. Juno Reactor and Coldcut are the ones that started me into electronica....waaay back in 1995.. when Lucy was everywhere . i discoverd what this music does to the synapses .. neurons firing in harmony.. beautiful. 15 yrs later ive just seen my 4th Orbital show at Ultra 2010. maybe one day Fsol will visit the US ..one day.. one day
@shklm0 REMEMBER WHEN THEY USED TO PLAY MUSIC??, HAVE YOU SEEN ANY NOT ACCOMPANIED BY A SHIT REALITY SHOW ABOUT SOME,HOT WHEN YOU DRUNK FUCK-WIT, CRYING ABOUT THERE PETTY NON-PROBLEMS. MTV DIED A LONG TIME AGO , AND I MOURN THERE PASSING
@muteoscillator1 Couldn't agree more! I first heard this song when i was 13 yo or sth.
Few years ago, MTV reporters asked me on the streets of Belgrade which is my fav video of all music videos... This was the first video that crossed my mind. <3

No commercial tv or radio has balls these days to play music like this. What a bloody shame.

Yeah... GOOD, interesting videos. Now it's just f**king re-runs of "My super sweet sixteen" or "The Hills" or some bullsh*t.

when i first saw this video,it was something like '95/96,and i was 16 yo.
that day i remember i thought:"yes, this is the future, this is the music i'll listen from now on"
this video and this song is where my journey into electronic music started.
it changed my life.
they don't do it like this anymore...long live 90's music

i think shpongle /younger brother is close to this quality. but more recent FSol stuff doesnt really do it for me like this does.
