  • if we painted all our walls glow in the dark we wouldnt need lightbulbs. hey im serious!

  • What do you use to write on the walls? Flashlights? Laser pointers? This is awesome BTW!

  • less god more lights :P

  • Love it!!! How much paint did you use to cover your back drop?

  • @XtremeDramaTeam It took a gallon of the phosphorescent paint to cover our backdrop. We applied it using a sprayer in 7 thin coats.

  • Do you have a email address to contact you about this. I will be doing this same effect in December. I need to build and paint my set now I have got a few questions to ask you

  • Awesome! How did you get their shadows to show when the black light wasn't on? Did you use a white light to produce a shadow?

  • @thesherrie100 Thanks! Are you referring to the "burnt-in" shadows or moving shadows from people walking around? The shadows get burnt in because the blacklight quickly charges the glow-in-the-dark wall, but not in the places people are, of course. There were no other lights used on the wall except two blacklights that get turned on and off.

  • Love the effect, the "puppets" are creepy, I agree.

  • AMAZING!!!! :D Great job!!!!! It looked so cool on tape so I can't imagine how cool that would have been in person!

  • Who is the amazing person responsible for comming up with these ideals? Thanks so much for sharing!

  • @taylortemp We are blessed here at Total Life Encounters to have many talented people who volunteer their talents each year for this ministry. It is always a group effort.

  • I was blessed by watching this thank you all God bless

  • Are you using just plain white light with a black light when the light flashes?

  • @Kandj1987 The big flash of light is just a blacklight: Two Wildfire brand blacklights that can be turned on and off at will.

  • soooo coool, how did you guys do that? what are you using to write with and how do you get the images to stay on the board.

  • @daisilove2: In a word—Magic.

But really, we're using blacklight flashlights on a giant glow-in-the-dark wall. The blacklight charges the glow-in-the-dark material very quickly, which is why it glows and stays glowing for a little while.

  • where did you get the black lights and a big glow in the dark wall??

  • @tiqu357 The blacklight flash lights came from Amazon. We made the glow-in-the-dark wall using Phosphorescent paint from Wildfire.
