AP edited the most important twist in this story. The Robber said he wanted to be a Muslim after Sohail gave him $40 and a loaf of bread for his family. He then asked the Robber to prey with him and the Robber left. Who knows if the robber was being for real or not. The compassion shown by Sohail is beautiful! AP edited the most important twist in this story. The Robber said he wanted to be a Muslim after Sohail gave him $40 and a loaf of bread for his family. He then asked the Robber to prey with him and the Robber left. Who knows if the robber was being for real or not. The compassion shown by Sohail is beautiful! How many people would have pulled the trigger. Lots I imagine, Compassion saved a mans life. Amazing story.

I live in a town in the Midwest with a sizeable Muslim population due to the local university. The Muslims I have encountered are very friendly and easygoing. They seem generally way less concerned with a person's differences than your average American. They're usually more concerned with stuff that actually matters, rather than dumb things like the newest piece of tripe Hollywood has churned out or the contents of Justin Bieber's latest bowel movement or other crap the media shoves in our craw.
