I've payed and downloaded Portal 2 from Steam, but at the start the screen goes black except for the crosshair type white thing in the center and the white things with the letter "i" on the giving instructions. I can also hear the voices fine. Please help?

@stevenson192 No, the Voice of the robot is just a computer with a text-to-speech program that they made it say some words, and edited. The party escort robot is not in the seconds Portal at all. Or at least in what we've seen.

I almost cried. Literally, I almost like, wanted to have a crazy panic attack. This is so beautiful, so well done. It's March 6th, 9:25pm as I post this, and I don't think April will ever come, now that I've seen this. I can only imagine what goes on after the music starts getting intense, and she enters the big white area. One thing I DO know, and I'm sure of. I just love the small details: When Wheatley said "...you were for a quite longer..." his Eye popping out from the body showing how he is suprised that we, are still able to walk around etc. Portal 2 is a 2011 Game Of The Year and dont be fooled by any crysis or cod (i just love comments on about graphics or other aspects; XYZ VS cod or crysis - thankfully Xbox gamers wont bother normal players with their shit, because of no cross platform for them, Microsoft Thank You for Wise Decision)

i don´t understand the beginning. how did chell get in there? why does the game simply starts without an intro or something like the wake up bed? why did chell sleep in this bed for 999999 days. i didn´t see any signs of cryonic technology or special gases or something like that. if it were gases chell should still get older. in my opinion it´s a good beginning of the game, but i would like to have an explanation.

@MegaManki Double post here, but it basically explains it in the trailer. Chell (might not actually be chell) has been put in statis, just like the original portal. She seems to actually have a room this time. But anyway, it stops her from growing or anything.

@JBxWinters Pac Man and tetris never had a story in the first place. It was just made so the user can play without care. And those games were super simple. You didn't have to learn anything. With Portal, you have to learn how to properly use portals, and some people aren't smart enough to understand, so there needs to be someone guiding them. They used GLADoS. some people were curious about who she was so they had to create a whole story about her. And anyways, stories give more life into games

Curiosity wanted to know what the dislike button did, Anger core was ticked off since Wheatley got the job instead of him, Logic core thought dislike was the final ingredient to the cake recipe, and Morality simply thought it was the right choice
