  • Hey! Some of the colors are wrong! (I guess I'm not the first one who says this)

    But this is certainly the best trailer of the movie.

    Why am I talking English? I'm Dutch and the comentary is Dutch, dus praat ik nu maar even Nederlands. Het is trouwens echt raar om de stemmen van de vertrouwde personages in het Nederlands te horen (op de dvd dan, tenzij je het anders instelt). Waar is dat goed voor? De serie is toch ook gewoon in het Engels met Nederlandse ondertiteling?

  • I think Homer has changed quite a bit since the first seasons until the movie and subsequent seasons.

    At first he was portrayed stupid but caring and soft-hearted towards his family and friends, but as time passed he became more of an idiotic egotistic, greedy jerk.

    So the series have changed, while the first seasons episodes would end with Marge and Homer kissing or with a heart-warming hug now they end with Homer shooting a dart at her or with Smithers, Burns and a manatee playing with water.

  • Don't take me wrong, the show is still great, but it hasn't bean really moving or groundbreaking on the late years.

    However, I felt that the movie was a refreshing effort to take the family, specially Homer and Marge back to their original personas, with Marge becoming a determined and fierce woman once again instead of a submisive housewive, while forcing Homer to overcome his selfishness and become once again the stupid hero we all love.

    I see this as the revival of the classic Simpsons.

  • I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SEQUEL!!! <3 [Yes, there is a sequel. I watched the movie the whole movie until the VERY end. Towards the end of the credits the Simpson were about to leave the movies and Maggie said "Sequel" and Marge was like "Maggie's first word!"][So yeah there's a sequel and I can't wait!]

  • this was a really funny movie.

    i watched it on new years with my family.

    my mom thought it was stupid before we started to watch it but, when they were being chased, homer went through the sink-hole and flipped everyone off, then got stuck, my mom laughed!

    hey, if it made my mom laugh, ITS GOOD!
