  • Greetings from Dundas Ontario. I enjoy your music. I have a Content D-2327 myself at home. (27 note pedal board) I do know the organ is made by Philips and the reverb is by Alesis. I got rid of the crappy stock Bose reverb speakers and am using cheap Realistic models instead. I am not using any other external speakers since my living room is small. For an older electronic organ it does not sound too bad. My church has a Content organ as well but it does poorly for sound in the building.

  • You are so calm and comfortable with this song! i have loved it, making all those notes right. almost next to Diane Bish. Thank you so much for this is wonderful video!

  • i just love this piece! is the Diane Bish's transcription?? we don't have it here in italy :(

    however u're amazing!

  • Thank you! I had borrowed the book from a friend, I'm not sure if it is the same as what Diane Bish uses. It is a selection from "An Album of Trumpet Tunes for Organ" published by Alfred Music Publishing (AP.GB9709).

  • this is the diane bish version! i love it! where can i find a free version of it?

however good esecution.. but i would have changed some registers.. :)

  • Way to go Rodneyjantzi! Awesome playing and great organ. I just purchased the Content Mondri 5800 for my home. I'm looking forward to having it in 7 to 10 weeks. BTW, the new organs have a system by which you can voice the organ to your own specs. Thanks for the great music Rod ! Cheers !

  • Thank you very much! Congratulations on the purchase of your Mondri - those are fantastic intruments that you will enjoy for a very long time. The Content organs were great 10 years ago and even better now.

    Rodney

  • Welcome to the Club!

    I have a Mondri 5800 as well ;-)

  • Really? I was about to say that I LOVE the mixtures and principals. But I wasn't the biggest fan of the reeds. Maybe it's that particular stop. My trumpet is a bit more mellow and deeper.

But definitely one of the better digital organs you hear nowadays.

  • Thanks! I agree that the reeds I used on the swell on this piece might be a little harsh for a trumpet stop : ) I wanted to use the principals on the great, but that is where the trumpet stop is, so I used a vox humana, oboe, and an 8 + 2-2/3 mix. For a 10 year old organ I am still happy with how it sounds in my house.

  • Ohh! Regardless, I couldn't even tell it wasn't a Reed so very nice combination. My organ also has the Trumpet on the Great so it limited me to these pieces. Maybe I'll try combo and see how that works.

  • interesting..... it has a 6 octave keyboard instead of 5...... but it sounds great anyway

  • Its 5 octaves actually.

  • I completely agree

About Paranormaalutrecht and Ratje1a i deeply beleave that they are both the same (failed and anoyingly ignorant) person, since they are all arround youtube, saying that Content Organs suck (something far from reality)...

  • Great Content organ and great player

  • which temperment is used?

  • It is set to Werckmeister/Kirnberger. I'm very impressed that it was noticed!

  • i guess youtubes jealous and decided to muffle and distort it... woulda sounded beter had i been there...

  • cant wait to hear it with the extra amps and speakers, please more vids

  • well done, what brand of organ is it? how many speakers?

  • Thanks! It is a Content classical organ, model D2330. It has 6 built in speakers, but I added 6 more external plus sub woofer with a mix of 3 amplifiers ranging from 100 to 400 watts of power.

  • Thanks for posting! Nice performance!

Keep it up! I am waiting for more videos ;-)
