actually we speak: english mandarin malay tamil cantonese hokkien teochew hindi hakka, hailam, foo zhou and some say singlish.

Basically they talk about not sharing cups or eating utensils to avoid exchanging saliva, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze or else you might end up having to see the doctor. it's only during sar that the government allow teo chew and other dialects commercial again, so as to reach out to those elderly who only speak teo chew. it's a profound teo chew not spoken by most.
