  • this amazing! you're both so young and incredible talented. i'm super impressed by the piano playing

  • beautiful performance.

But what was all the background noise? Sounds like they were doing the dishes!

Could they not have waited until you had finished?

    Talk about pearls before swine!

  • If work on tonality, this would improve so much. Lovely job ladies!! I'm working on this piece now and I'm in my freshman year of college, so props to you girls for being so young and so good already.

  • do some solfege

  • That's wild. I could have never played the accompaniment at 10 years of age. I can barely play it now, and I'm nearly 30!

    Nice job, ladies!

  • wow... amazing

  • .... almost everything is sharp.

  • I like this piece. It sounds like the soundtrack from an old hollywood movie. What is the noise in the background though? it sounds like someone's clearing dishes. Are they playing at a restaurant?

  • Yeah, the fingering is not the biggest problem, also the tonguing work isn't. Anyhow, those very high notes don't sound as clear as I want them to.. :(

  • Sounds great but I wish the 3rd was included. Thanks for sharing!

  • ステキでした!この曲をいつか演奏してみたいです。

  • 1:22

    those bars are killing me!

  • oh man, me too!

  • it's simply ridiculous how good they are.

  • They must work their little butts off and practice every day. They're fantastic!

  • the double tounges are hard (hope i didn't spell wrong)

    i'm doing it 4 grade 8...

  • great job

  • does anyone know where I could get this piece of music from on the internet? (Free if possible!)

  • @williams9204 Have you found the music yet? I may be able to scan it for you if I find it (I have it in my room somewhere).

  • @MadHatterMCR

That's really nice! Do you mind if scanning it for me as well?? (I am really sorry but I am deperate to play it )!

    Thanks your so nice!

  • Snap I was going to scan it this weekend and forgot. Just keep bugging me and I'll do it when I go home Saturday. =p

  • @MadHatterMCR

Er... It would be very nice of you to scan the music for me! Well obviously it is your choice to scan it. Have a nice day~

  • Es increíble, que bien toca

  • dang that little girl is killing it at the piano

  • Wow! Such talented musicians at such a young age.

  • VERY NICE, both of you :D The flute sounds so clean and pure, its amazing. It's so good, it made me want to practice my piano and flute! LOL :)

  • I'm having to do it for my Grade 7

  • Dominique and Valerie, great job and a joy to listen. I'm so proud of you two.

  • you are pretty amazing. keep it up :D

  • I admire all professional woodwind and brass players for their dedication: speaking from experience, the saliva is darn annoying!

  • LOL. Haha.

  • What a beautiful, pure sound you create on your flute! You played very beautifully, thats for sure. Nice accompanying, Valerie.

Your techniques on the flute are unbelievable!

I don't play flute, but I guess that you took a lot of time and determination to play this piece!

    God Bless.

    Have a Merry Christmas~~!

  • Holding your breath for that long...

    sht man, she's good.

  • Great work girls! The 2nd movement takes a lot of control on the flute with the long, smooth phrases and making sure to keep it soft, yet in pitch and you nailed it! I'm very impressed with the pianist as well. This isn't just piano accompaniment as it's written as a piano/flute duet and she definitely held her own on this difficult piece. Bravo!

  • Thanks for sharing your videos! You play beautifully, and have a great future both of you! The Poulenc flute sonata is MUCH more dificoult than it sounds, and you girls play it very well.

How much du you practice a day?

  • Oh I love this sonata. It was admirably well played for such young students

  • nice hall, nice sound!

  • Just stopping by for another listen... That was excellent! I love this piece and their performance of it.

  • im at the purcell school and i played this sonata a while ago.. good work!! second mvt could have flowed abit more at the begining, but reli gd. i love this piece=]=]=]

  • What a beautiful duo! Lovely playing!

  • is her flute gold plated?

  • hmmm...in certain lights it looks like it.

  • Excellent wprk girls!! i play the flute too but i am definetely not as good as you are! i am impressed that a 10-year-old girl can play the accompaniment on the piano! BRAVO again!! :) xxx

  • Beautifully done, as usual. I agree about the piano having needed work prior to this performance. I don't recognize the location. Where was this done?

    Tiffany

  • Very well done. :)

  • I'm amazed to see this being accompanied by a 10 year old. It is very rare to see such a young accompanist for a work of this kind. Well done!

  • well played for being so young

too bad they couldn't have tuned the piano

  • SHE'S SO GOOD!

    i play flute too.

    this piece sounds pretty hardd.

  • Brilliantly talented beautiful sisters.
