  • i have been waiting for gotye most of my life all my tastes rolled into one

  • His voice is really deep mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • Does this guy steal all his song titles from Elliott Smith?

  • Too short......... great song, neat rolling bass line, courageous little riff, great vocal texture but too short - I want more!

  • ...Wow.

You know, while people keep saying how much they've connected to "Somebody That I Used To Know", I've never quite felt it. Don't get me wrong, it's an absolutely fantastic song, but I can't relate to it very well personally. This, on the other hand... Ouch.

Goyte, you're amazing, pure and simple.

  • Wally reminds me a lot of Beck. In some songs, anyway.

He is so good though. It's just crazy.

  • just leaves you wanting for more ......

  • Little short but nice :D

  • Day tripper with a twist.. I like it (:

  • The sudden ending fits with the theme of the "easy way out". Instead of having a complicated climax, it just ends. Brilliant.

  • za-je-bi-ste! / fucking awesome!

  • love that song, but its toooooooooo short.

  • he has a beautiful voice.

  • day effin tripper... what the frizz my friend??

  • Yes indeed! why is this song not longer!

  • Definitely too short - you want more and it unexpectedly ends. That's disappointing.

  • Zajefajne :) dzieki Fernand ;*

  • Beatles influence detected

  • Very much Beatles but still good

  • Needs to be far longer

  • fantastic song

  • The moment he finishes saying, "Seventeen seconds and I'm over it," it really is over 17 seconds.

  • *goes to make artwork of the music*

  • sounds like a Beck song, so much.

very similar to E-Pro. No offense intended. (why am I saying that? I've found if you compare one artist to another people get instantly offended and call you out.)

  • Gotye have become my addiction! their music makes me smile when im down, they lift my spirit and i can really relate to their lyrics, which is something that few bands in todays music scene are capable of doing!

  • @coolio2ish You do know there is no 'band', don't ya? Gotye or 'Wally' actually does everything himself. There are two documentaries on his channel showing how he makes his music. Check them out! He's an incredible artist indeed.

  • just bought the album!

  • Your music puts me is such a good mood! I wish I could bottle it and take it everywhere with me and drink a little bit of it when I needed a pick me up! *gasp!* You music is like a drug! D:

  • JJJ FTW nuff said

  • Is this on ITunes? Please please please tell me it's on Itunes.

  • @TheSim1derful yes, it is.

  • @TheSim1derful Of course it will be. And I'm sure Triple J might even have a free download somewhere:) Though. Buy it.

  • The king of segue's

  • anyone else have the urge to sing the lyric 'owner of a lonely heart' over the opening riff?

  • @Brucewillisv and during the chorus

  • Got a good reason...

  • Rolling Stones' Satisfaction riff! Brilliant

  • Great song, but I wonder why Wally kept it so short for the album - I wish it was another minute, minute and a half long. It's got such a great feel to it.

  • This is a cool little nod to Day Tripper...

  • @Vomitorator glad im not the only the only one who noticed.

  • @Vomitorator Fuck Yeah! Called it!

  • @Vomitorator That's what I thought exactly! Just that short part of the chorus clicks right in! Someone should try a mashup :)

  • <3 this song !

  • Love it, love it, love it, love it!!!

  • I love this song!

  • What is the best way to purchase this album so that Wally De Backer gets the most benefit?

  • @Th33vilthing If you have a vinyl player, get the vinyl from his site: gotye.com

  • @Th33vilthing By single-handedly taking down the record-label behemoths?

  • @fraserclubbx no shit sherlock

  • @Th33vilthing It would be bandcamp and/or cdbaby I guess. But isn't on either of those.

  • @Th33vilthing The best way to get the artist the most benefit is to go see them live. The artist is already paid in advance for recording and shit, but they have to make the money back via touring and shit. So, go see live = artist gets the most benefit.

  • @Th33vilthing

Did you ever find out which way?
