Attention leftwing drones: This is an Elia Kazan movie. He blew the whistle on Commies in Hollywood in the early '50s. He did "On the Waterfront" (before this film) to equate "ratting" on Commie gangsters to ratting on the criminal variety.

So Kazan's Rhodes character, a nobody elevated to a beloved nation hero based on media image manipulation, is much more like the Commie Gangster hero himself - Obama. And it is Obama, who is right now meeting the same fate as Rhodes. Eat it Soros! Ha!
