i can tell you have played this song on real guitar partly because at 2:12, that is a very similar pattern to on real guitar (3,0,3,0,3,0,3,0,5,0,5,0) I have broken 2 strings trying to play that solo! This is a good chart if what i can tell is true about these note charts.

The first half of that was charted nicely, but why the fuck did he put in reds and yellows and such? That's like he thinks it's played going from the 1st fret to the 15th fret on a reeltar over and over.

Thats exactly what joe satriani is doing, its called a single string solo, download the software guitar pro, and get tabs for this song, you'll see what i mean.

No.. The low notes you hear are not the first fret being held... It's an open string (0 fret)

oh thats what you are saying, i dont think you can play open notes in gh, so they usualy make it the left one, but the pattern does switch to the red too soon

No, it should never switch to red since all of the lower notes are open string..

i thought i remembered reading a tab that went one octave up when he reached the 15th fret, and then he would switch between 12,15,12,17, etc, joe satriani has long ass fuckin fingers.

You're extremely weak-minded, aren't you? "You aren't very good" is about the nicest way to put it.

You missed quite a lot of notes on your chart, so it needs some work. Such as the beginning, there are gaps in the chart where he obviously does keep playing. The solo, despite some comments, was actually well done.

There shouldn't be any lower red notes in that first half of the solo. They should all be green.
