@djmigra Haha yes. Good luck! I've been meaning to buy a version of Reason for a while. I just got lucky in the fact that they released 6 right when I had enough funds, because I was gonna buy the Reason/record duo. This definitely works so much nicer, and I'm utilising the audio functionality so much. As well, my music store allowed me to finance the purchase over a year, so it's costing me very little each month for the next 12 months.
@ebeatz1234 Sort of. Mostly, it protects your own work so that no one else can open your files without the Ignition Key. All of the rest of the software works as normal. You can even save. You just can't open any file.
@deejayspook Not really. Without the USB drive, you cannot use Cubase at all. In the case of Reason, you can use it fully, only without the ability to open saved files.
@deejayspook Yeah. It's called the Ignition Key. You need the key to start running the software in full service mode. However, if you don't have it, the software runs in demo mode, and you can still save all your work. However, you won't be able to open any of your old files. More details can be found on the Propellerhead site, or just search Google for "reason ignition". First link explains it.
I envy you, I hope for Xmas have enough money to buy mine

Thank You for an extensive information about that. Hm... This Reason security is very similar Cubase security with Usb drive...
