  • Wow, this is such a helpful video. I'll use it so I can stop avoiding learning the day names.

  • Thanks for sharing!!! I'm so gonna learn that~!

  • anyone who found this boring doesn't enjoy studying or learning new things

  • It would be a great help, & save us a lot of time, if you put the written version of the words that you teach us, in the description bar, below the video, so we can copy & paste them, to a place where we can refer to them again & again, so as to memorize them. ~ arigatou, thatjapanesegirlsan

  • very pretty in pink!!! wow!

  • @johnyRidin Hell, she's pretty in anything!

  • Jasmine Tea FTW!

  • so each day represents like an element??

  • Thumbs up.

  • :O

Oooh, I live in SF :D

  • Your English is very good, but you have to work on words with TH. :D Thanks for helping people to learn Japanese.

  • i wouldent mind her dropping her bombs on my harbor

  • @Ericzeppe hahahahahaha

  • Hey baby, good to see you are back . Daddy missed you. So how was your vacation in South Jersey? Did you like it there. If you marry a nice American you can live in New Jersey all year around. And you don't have to work. It's the garden state, you can simply live off the fat of the land.

Are you complaining about missing thigns on vacation. You're spoiled bro.

I bet you hurt Victor's feelings by saying you didn't miss him. Don't you call him Daddy? I bet he'd love that.

  • great lesson!

  • good lesson! and getsuyoubi is the first day in japan, ne? nichiyoubi is the first day in the states...

  • Simple. The difficulty is just to remember :)

    Merci !

  • Great lesson! Thank you.

I already watched that Iron Man video... it was funny. =D

  • wow this is awesome, learned this last week in japanese class and forgot them :)

  • Really? the internet was that bad in San Fran? I'm kinda suprised.

  • the first characters stand for names of heavenly bodies.

日sun, 月moon, 水星mercury, 火星mars, 木星jupiter, 金星venus, 土星saturn

  • wow, you're getting even more beautiful

  • aaah cool lesson...wel explained...^_^

  • Your hair looks beautiful!

  • Wow, I remember taking Japanese in high school and we had to sing a song for this so that we could learn it easier! haha...brings back memories. Love your videos!

  • Come to Miami, Florida we have nice weather here ! :)

  • you should have said u were going to sf did u go to japantown?

  • haha how about FOOD!!!!!

  • You can buy Ito-en green tea in San Francisco! You could have had oi ocha!

  • you look like a thai girl:3 but your cute^^ love your videos:)

  • 日曜日 was the first day I learned because of 太鼓の達人 on the PS2~ XD

  • for english, it's not so hard. monday, getsu - moon - moonday. tuesday (this one is a bit hard) wednesday, sui - water - waterday, thursday, moku - tree - treeday, friday, kin - money - payday (it used to be common to get paid on friday), saturday, do - soil - soil day, sunday, nichi - sun - sunday.

  • getsu - moon

    sui - water

    ka - fire

    moku - tree

    kin - gold

do - earth (i'm not sure)

nichi - i don't know what it means, but i think it has someting to do with "day", because youbi 曜日 has that kanji too.

  • @AvelinePL Yes, earth, or rather soil.

And about nichi, everyday is mainichi so ur sure on the right track.

  • For some reason you look nicer than usual, probably because you're so you're so relaxed from your vacation. Thanks for the helpful Japanese.

  • Funny you should say that its hard to find iced green Tea in San Francisco ...?

About half of all liquor stores here carry ITO-EN Green, Oi Cha, Oolong & Jasmine teas. They have a different design to the Japanese market, so maybe you couldn't recognize the bottles ? They are called Ito-En "Tea`s Tea" here.

  • You were in San Francisco? Should have let people know, we could have thrown a TJG party or dinner for you here...

  • but I like apples ...

  • CHERRYBOY IRONMAN WOOOOOO

  • I love your videos, KEEP up the great work. Perhaps you should show us Japanese stuff

  • Japanese lesson #4: Months of the year please?

  • ookini~~~

  • What was the third thing u missed in San Fran? I couldn't understand it sorry. ^^'

  • @MurdocLC fast internet :)

  • @ERCacting Oh. Haha good one! XD

  • Thank You ! I am glad you enjoyed your vacation here in the United States !

There are huge redwood trees nearby San Francisco.

Next time you are here, you might give them a look.

Also, I liked the Alcatraz Island tour.

To go there, buy tickets in advance on the internet.

  • LOL the kanji for friday is gold. is that because friday is payday?

  • you're very pretty :)

  • @ca280491

Are you trying to hit on my girlfriend? >=(

It makes no difference if she doesn't actually know we're dating, she's still my girlfriend!!!

    *goes back to stalking*

  • @Devilock79 stalking FTW !!! :D

  • hi long time no see.

    hope you enjoyed sanfransico.

greentea? they seem to have lots of strange kinds of greentea in america these days.

  • What is nr 3..? couldnt quite hear you.

  • @UchihaJP Fast Internet XD

Japan has crazy fast internet, as far as I know. So does Sweden and South Korea.

  • I miss being able to buy green tea from a convenience store too! They just have shitty tea loaded with sugar here!

  • Love your vid's and you are a great teacher.

  • warm toilet seats are nice in winter but some places they have the temperature too hot and I've practically got a 3rd degree burn on my tushie!

  • teach us: " Please take there close off" :)

  • @PriusRider I've seen bad spelling, but if you actually speak English as your first language, and that is mean to say 'Please take their clothes off' then you got some speech problems, buddy

  • @TheHairyGeek how about watching my profile. i am native german spaker.

  • warm toilet seats ftw

  • what was the third thing you missed? i didn't understand that... sorry :-(

  • @666Mariko666 I think she said "fast internet".

  • it is not easy to rememeber

  • you are beautiful

  • Good lesson, thank you :)

  • I remember Friday as "kin" means gold so could sound like pay day (I used to get paid every Friday, but not in gold unfortunately).

  • Great lesson! Come see us in Texas next time you are here and I'll give you a plane ride:)

  • @cdstingj 格好いいね

  • @okinawaskate Groovy indeed!

  • "This video is going to be boring as hell.." HAHAHA

    warachatta :)

  • Do you really write like this in daily life? Looks that has to take forever. I always assumed people used a single kanji for each day, month and season.

  • Thanks for the awesome lesson!

  • you look great in pink.

thanks for the helpful video, i knew how to say it. but i had no actual accent to practice saying it with. and now I know i was saying some of it slightly wrong. you really helped.. i still suck with my accent. but you helped me lots.

  • I don't like the warm toilet seats here because it makes me feel like someone was just sitting on it...0_0

  • @TokioDylan L0L

  • @TokioDylan How about that warm water spritzing up your ass afterwards? That really was too much for me.

  • @bakagajin I can't handle public bathrooms. Back home, I have to be concerned about catching an STD; here in Japan I have to worry about getting violated.

  • @TokioDylan are you serious?

  • @niceprince Serious about what?

  • @TokioDylan getting violated

  • @niceprince This is the interwebs; nothing's serious. The worst thing you have to worry about is getting sprayed up the ass by the bidet.

  • @TokioDylan Do you put toilet paper over?

  • That was a nice video.

Glad you had a great time in SF.

  • Eight days a week, I love Japanese.

  • So in Japan, do they say TGIK?

  • Thanks! That helps alot. Your vids are never boring.

  • I agree about the green tea, luckily I live close to a Target which offers Ito En Green and Jasmine Green teas, sooo refreshing.

  • You always like the places you visit but trust me living there isn't any fun LOL.

  • hahahaha warm toilet seat xDDDD we don't have it here in Europe, I never tried it =)

  • Where is the that-japanese-girl theme song? it pretty good!

  • When I first learned the days of the week, I used this useful/weird system:

Sunday - contains the kanji "sun" (Sun+day).

Monday - contains the kanji "moon" (Moon+day)

Tuesday - ... is the first word in Utada Hikaru's "In My Room" song XDD

Wednesday - I had a course about Egypt that day, so I remembered the water element.

Thursday - ... is great day to play Tekken (PS game), using Mokujin.

Friday - I would pay money for more Fridays (gold element)

    Saturday - Managed somehow.

    :-P lameness

  • you seriously look like my nihonggo sensei! >< lol

thanks!:) and ur not boring :P i think i learn more from you than from my japanese professor -___- lol

  • OMG That mnemonic is so going to help me remember the days.

    ミ★(*^-゚)v Thanks!!★彡

  • the real Japanese lesson for you followers here is "chuuto hanpa", right?

    ;)

  • thanks for the lesson :)

glad you had a great vacation!
