I agree that the fun fair is rough as houses and all the chavs let the place down ... but ... the promenade is nice and there are some great rock pools when the tide is out. Other attractions are the nifty museum and of course those Victorian public toilets ... if you're into that kind of thing, architecturally, of course. Anyway, nice video and voice over made me laugh. Cheers. Still worth a visit, as you say.

Yea worth a visit maybe ; well filmed but the place is a SHIT HOLE ; loads of big headed wankers live there who think they live somewhere special & thats one of the things that spoil it. I live nearby.The place is awful compared to the nicest resorts like Weymouth & that fairground is a dangerous proven DEATH TRAP with fatalities to prove it !! .By the way narrator,what you erroneously described as 'Happy Valley' is in fact 'Sandy Bay' ,Happy Valley being further out of Newton.

I live in Porthcawl and i totally agree...I nice stretch of coastline...Ruined by the ignorant bigheaded shitstains who live there...either bigheaded pikeys with a bit of cash and a Merc who think they are the Mafia..or Benefit bums who spend their days smashed outta there minds in the Brentwood and the seaways...I cant wait to get away from there...Nice video though!
