There has never been a time of zero seismic activity on the planet earth. 500,000 earthquakes a year. 100,00 are felt. Stress builds over time and then it releases in the form of a quake. Long rest periods are followed by bigger quakes.. A much better theory would be that one extremely large slip of a fault line (Sumatra 2004) made a world wide adjustment that we're still dealing with. But then again, that would involve science... so... well this is awkward...

Yup and yesterday there was a 7.2 quake in Japan, and for the past week there have been quakes ranging from 4.5-5.3 in Alaska multiple times per day.

@astifan1 Eastern Russia.. is vulnerable due to the Pacicific "ring of fire".. you're right something is happening... and i think it will become more severe as time goes on. Upheavals are natural and occur cyclically. and to many people's discontent.. its not supernatural powers, gods, demons etc. its probably due to celstial alignment, sunspot activity (none) etc. hold on to your seats.. i recommend.
