  • Thankyou so much man. you've helped alot of people out there :') Anyway, does that work on all type of CDJ, DJ controllers, turntable? i mean you can listen to it eventhough the volume is down?

  • how can this be done in virtual dj???? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!!!

  • @yodudewasupman midi controller i.e. Numark Mixtrack pro

  • wts up with the hat?

  • this vid is extremely confusing

  • @alvarado12345678910 Perfectly clear to me, since he repeats the things alot for beginners. Great job explaining !

  • How would you choose what CDJ to listen in on while the music is down on 1CDJ using a two channel mixer?

  • Nice vid m8 as allways =]

Can't really understand how you manage to keep up with the tutorials, like if you haven't gotten bored yet :)

  • alright well i wanted to clarify through the video that with head phones you hear for example on the left ear cup the main ear cup but on the right you hear the song you r trying to set up right?

  • lol the hat

  • guys what's the function that allows the headphone to give the sound from the right cdj or the left one,,any advise will be appreciate :)

  • nice hat haha

  • thks man really helpful

  • Great beginner video

  • what do you mean north american culture, DJing is done all over the world. i gaurantee that 9 out of 10 people in America know what DJ stands for. And also not everybody can afford vinyl or even cdj, so whos the fucking loser now. and look he has a vinyl turntable right there on the right. I bet you hes 10 times the DJ you are.

  • Then I must be a figment of your imagination...

  • hahaha funny hat. dodgey hat

  • Really helpful but how can you set that up when your using Virtual DJ?

  • with a pc/laptop its even easier because you have the visual aid of the software. you prolly can do it totally without headphones at all

  • good explaination also remote for camera is a cool feature

  • really helpful

  • ima show this to this girl i'm teaching to scratch and mix

  • nice video but ugly hat xD

  • Really helpfull Bro

  • Awesome, thanks man, you rock!

  • quemlolx2..your the noob.

  • its a little bit too long...but its good

  • What headphones is Jonathan using? dont even look like DJ headphones.

  • Could be a Vestex DJ Stick Headphone. I've got one of those.

  • lol, maybe he wants to listen to mozart in one ear because he doesnt like the music he plays :P

  • main PA? is anyone know what does it mean?

  • Rifandy, the speakers in the public, that's the main PA ;)

  • Dodgy hat sooo cute!!

  • hahah love the hat

  • gna kore

  • i wonder how much equipment does ella have?

  • its jonathon and a bloody lot

  • Haha niice hat =D

  • nice hat

  • That was a great video... Thanks for doing these. I'm such a noob. For anyone hating on it- please make a twelve part tutorial on how to DJ, post it on You Tube, then we'll talk!

  • sweet remote control camera

  • Good video, but you got to work on your communication skills man, 9mins and 39 secs to explain such as simple question is a bit to much!!!

  • great video, but what's with the hat?

  • Good review, I love that half of headohone lol, what did you do to the other half?

  • sorry TAKE 2 cant hear the beat diffrence when i have one ear phone and one ear on the Pa is my method ok?

  • The method is ok... in previous I commented in this video 3 different ways of listening through headphones it's only what suits for you the best.

  • good cost its hard to do it the way he says

  • nice work

  • its just practice. if you are used to mixing in your headphones you will find it hard to change to mixing with one ear on the floor and one ear on your head. You just have to train your ears to listen to two different sources and practice practice practice.

  • i mix in side my earphones i so i play both songs in my head phones and beat match like that cos i can hear the beat diffrence when i have one ear phone and one ear on the Pa is my method ok?

  • Yes whatever works for you, as long as the mix is good and it works for you its ok.

  • ooOOoO! What's under the paper?! oOooOOo!

  • Hey J why don't you make a video of all your hats?...show us how many hats you have...show us ur collection....

  • Ellaskins how many hats do you have?

You like have a different one every video!

  • All hail remote controls! Zoooooooooooooom! LOL

  • This doesn't tell the ways of listening while mixing which is something people ask. So you can listen to the incoming only and listen ongoing through PA. You can have incoming and ongoing left and right on the headphones also some people prefer hearing incoming and ongoing on top of each other through the headphones.

  • thanks for that, ive seen alot of the tenminmix vids where the dj does not appear to switch between channels on the headphones and thought he may be doing it this way, i personaly find it hard just listening to one channel!

  • gr8 vid couldnt really dj with out headphones!!

  • we all startd somewhere. ..very useful .. btw .. cute hat ..lol!
