Boom tubes, are just wide pipes at the end of your exhaust right? like 3-5 inch tips that are 12-18 inches long? did it have any real effect or not? i'm curious on gettin some with my super 44 on my 4.7l V8 durango

My advice: Just have'em take off the rear mufflers, pipe it and put some nice tips on. It's not too loud & gives a VERY nice musclecar sound. Check my vids for my interior sound level during 0-100MPH. I'll do an exterior eventually.

Interesting... I've always favored Flowmaster 40s on my cars, but I'm now giving this serious consideration for my 06 GT. It gives the 281 a more mellow, bass note than the Flows, and I absolutely love the lope it has in the idle. Much better than Flows, there. You got any mods upstream of them, or is that just axle-backs on Ford stock?
