  • Check out ..Agnus Dai (Adagio) by Dale Warland Singers...a vocal version...Cadets are in the same ball park!

  • Adagio...for me..is the healing theme of the Vietman War...(Platoon) the wounds heal a little every time I hear this played. The Cadets play this so powerfully and beautiful. Thank You

  • Some of us spectator do get it. Not the same way as you on the field. I saw your show in June 2011 and I was totally into it. Get a bit coked up listening and watching the amazing things I am hearing and seeing. I am a musician too which helps the understanding of it.

  • A couple baritones are a bit flat but overall this gave me what i needed.

  • does that kid riding by on his bike even know what he's missing?!!

  • Would have been better not to be so close to the baritones. Not very good intonation there. Overall beautiful sound though!!

  • From a member of this hornline, hearing this again brings tears to my eyes. I'm so glad that this was recorded at least once.

  • Do only x-corps members have the reaction to these sounds as I or are there others out there that get it - but never experienced it? I still believe its impossible to understand unless you have been there, but the roll of emotion that still goes through me 10 years later is something I simply can not compare to anything else. Drum Corps and my marching snare will run through my veins for life, I'm sure of it.

  • @MKEGuy80 You definitely have to be there to appreciate it, but I don't think it matters how much experience the spectator has. That would only change the spectator knowing how talented that group is.

  • @MKEGuy80 never marched for a corps, joined the military after high school. This stuff always gives me the warm fuzzies.

  • i love this song so much and i love hearing it performed by different instruments and in different versions. my favorite part of this video though was the very end when they relaxed-- in a RIPPLE!!! :D

  • @doublel7714 they always ripple up and down!

  • Chills...just chills.

  • It always sounds better when you're closer to the low brass.

  • I prefer the SCV Adagio.

  • @Skaterdon77 Agreed.

  • I picked the wrong instrument.

  • Bad pitch from baritones yay!

  • @thatguy0744

dude, look at the date of the recording, these guys won dci

the start of the season was june 15th (i would know because I myself marched in a g8 corps) by the way, they are bound to NOT sound perfect

  • @thatguy0744 Bummer

  • @thatguy0744 No kidding. Way to make my computer speakers cry

  • @thatguy0744 Yea 0:24 was a little scary :X

  • Not only is the music incredibly beautiful, but Gino's conducting is just so intriguing!

  • this song is beautiful when is played by a great group like the Cadets.

  • Beautiful!

  • CAN'T WAIT until you're in Little Rock. I believe my school will be hosting you during the day, until you go to the performance.

  • oh duh of course.

  • What campus were you guys at here?

  • @EpicTrumpeteer University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.

  • @DrumCorpsTube haha I went to a band camp there every summer in high school. It was a beautiful campus.

  • Epic

  • Its amazing what Gino is able to pull out of this group. The contra line is getting more and more dialed in (tone quality has improved tremendously). The balance of the corp is unbelievable for so early in the season.

  • nothing on SCV! lol

  • @tegear01 who cares? ;)

  • @tegear01 Thanks Lord.
