just got into my first accident yesterday 04 tl probably totaled :/ going 40 lost control on a lot of sand smashed into a wall no seat belt i believe the way the car was built and designed saved my life i thank you for that Acura most certainly will get a 2nd tl

had the same car.... got into an accident similar to this collision and i must say, the car saved my life.. glass didn't break, airbags worked great.. and got only a cut on my left arm (tiny one) from a 70mph collision.. get this car!! safest !

I own a rebuilt 04 TL. It was hit in the rear right and I have to say that crumple zone was very effective as well.

the safety cage was compromised. That dummy should have been driving a volvo. Watch the s40's, a smaller car, the cage in no manner is moved or bent. Volvo are the safest cars on the planet

at least in north america

every single current gen honda and acura vehicle in north america is an iihs top safety pick. the 04-07 TL is safer than the s40 of that time in the iihs top side impact. the pillar didn't flex, the crumple zone worked very well, the airbag deployed properly and the seatbelt worked well

did you know that some korean cars and most jap cars do better in the iihs side impact than the merc c and e classes (previous gens)
