I thought my mau was the only one who did this!!! She will dip her paws and then lick it. Anytime someone goes into the washroom she hops on to the sink so she can drink from the running tap! Crazy cat.
Jessica, where do you live? Cost of Maus varies from country to country, you would be best to contact a breeder in your own area. They are superb cats. More like little dogs really. So much fun and very lovable.
Out of interest, how much does it cost roughly to buy a Mau from a breeder? Because I REALLY want one of these cats when I can and have absolutely no idea how much it would cost to get a kitten. Anyway, beautiful cat, and it's funny how it's really into playing with that water. Any cat I've ever owned was never that comfortable being that close to a running tap.

My mau Rajha scoops her food with her paw out of the bowl and them eats it. And she will only drink water out of a glass cup. I love my mau!
