Hey. It is a nice movie to the moment you see the first german soldier. His equipment is worse! You should hide him next time or give him real equipment. The other thing I miss is that the american soldiers aren't talking. Although the battle started they didn't say a word... strange... All in all a good movie. no, The springfield and thompson were real, you could tell because of the way he loaded it up, not even airsoft could imitate it, and the thompson had a full barrel, either you use REALLY BIIIG airsoft pellets o it was a thompson, dunno about the rest :/ as for the sounds; the guns were all safetied and he had i think some sound affects (from airsofts, nothing was digital so it wasn't editing I'm guessing)

lol, coming from somebody who has never fired a tommy gun before, probably just see how they use it in video games or movies.The ww2 army field manual stated three different ways to hold a submachine gun, and the way he was carrying it was one of them. Another way is to sling the strap around your shoulder and weild it at the hip, and the third way is to hold the stock in a horizontal fashion instead of vertical to increase accuracy.The way he was holding it was the way paratroopers were taught.

Yup, although it actually means 2nd Ranger division. The other divisions that hit the beach had individual insignia (ex. 29th ID, 4th ID) painted onto their helmets, and yes, they are infantry
