  • 素晴らしい発明です。これなら、高齢になった私の父とゴルフに行く事が出来る。

  • This looks so wonderful! Being able to walk without a cane or crutches twisting your body, walking upright, climbing stairs, having both hands free. Maybe, eventually, running? Independence.

  • I have SBMA (Spinal Bulbul Muscular Atrophy) also known as Kennedy's Disease. This type of device would be ideal for me. Where can I purchase one?

  • how can I get one, I have multiple sclerosis I hope it is effort able.

  • The sad thing is, there's reely know way to tell if this works unless you try it

  • The Zeitgeist Movement (TZM) has been showing that we have the ability to generate energy, food, housing, health and education for everyone in the world, while, at the same time, we are able to ELIMINATE OUR ECONOMICAL, SOCIAL & ECOLOGICAL CRISIS along with corruption, poverty, abuse of power, unemployment, social stratification, and other factors that hinder the life and sustainability of the planet and its inhabitants. To know more about it, watch: "Zeitgeist Addendum" - It is on youtube

  • lol WALL-E level humans? nieve.... one step closer to mech warriors lol

  • I have MS, It is no laughing matter. It is weak and painful legs that also make you fall a lot. I am sure they will improve this also. in case you did not notice, the constant stress of workers in a bent position can ruin the joints. This is amazing. as a handicapped person that cannot hold or carry things using forearm crutches or reach things,or get around things in a narrow area, a wheelchair is confined to perfect conditions. this would be a Godsend for me. if I could afford it..

  • @betennant

Yep, I just hope people in perfect conditions won't use this or else they would start needing to use it.

  • its handy when your balls itsh

  • they're taking the effort out of something as effortless as walking... innovation has no limits? How about 300 pounds?

  • lolololololololololol

  • until they make something like those mech suites from avatar im not impressed

  • What most people seem to fail to realize is that this technology is a feat of engineering which will help power us towards "super suits". Yeah the examples they give are bad but if you can imagine the applications for this type of stuff it's amazing.

  • @BobRossNTV yeah, u got a point, but i think the world governments need to put some sort of limit on using these devices to certain people, like handicapped, elderly, and those willing to pay stupidly rediculous amounts for them.

  • It wouldn't be difficult to design a variety of these to support different weights. My interests lays mainly in the support of the elderly and disabled who are not featured in this ad

  • No one is concerned with that thing smashing their balls??? Man I have issues sitting down and pinching my right one all the time. This thing looks like it could kill my jewelz badly.

  • PUT SOME WHEELS AND THERE YOU GO NO MORE CARS :D PUT A NANO TECH ROCHET/JET AND THERE YOU GO NO MORE AIRPLANES :D IT IS POSSIBLE :D AND YOU ALSO CAN DO SEX FOR HOURS WITHOUT BEING TIRED JUST GO AND PISS SOME TIMES :D

  • nah mate i dont wanna go walking around as if im wearing a nappy.....

  • owwww my nuts lol

  • Its the prototype for ED209

  • Love you Honda x

  • Years from now, people will wonder how mountains like Everest were ever climbed without assistance from these types of devices. It's a pretty nutty world we're creating for the future.

  • what if the person is over weight... do you really think that it would support the weight of that person?

  • @Belleberly you dont understand hydrolics do you?

  • @hardwirecars I do.... but come on? if someone is overweight.... it would break!

  • Ball-Crusher.

  • why in the sketches, does it look like a giant cock? with an added tail.

  • I can think of all the people with knee problems this could help. I am not sure that I fully understand how it works. If it takes the weight off the knees?

  • what happens when i cant lower it?

  • can i plug my ipod into it?

  • it's time to die out

  • One question.... Can you run with it?

  • I'm going to hack those things and send people running backwards.

  • They would not want to put a disabled person on it for display because of insurance purposes. and you know how the greedy J lawyers would jump on that in a minute.

    Sew Sew Sew

  • if the program in the chip of the legs has a bug it'll rip your legs apart from you... :-(

  • @nazworkshop No, just taking it away from rich people. The homeless will still get all the exercise their pretty little bodies need. :)

  • 0:53 minutes in... that image, just looks wrong on so many levels. i didn't realize, putting on a Strap-on, would help you walk up stairs.

  • I would hate to buy a used one, and wonder why it smells like sweaty balls, and ass. 0_o

  • As if Americans need one more reason to be fatter and lazier

  • the downside to being a futuristic lazy ass is looking like a tool.

  • if you can walk...why do you need this thing....??? it's may be more better for disable person..

  • @onishukablue its main goal is to help walking be less difficult, or trying to less the pressure on your knees and ankels

  • everyone is trying to get a thumbs up with there comments sooo dumb

  • do you need to wear a cup using that thing? i could foresee law suits coming from female partners for making its male users poor lovers.

  • One step closer to cyborgs.

  • what happen if a girl wear skirts??? LOL!!!!

  • Im a dude, what if it malfunctions and thrusts up into my nuts violently, STERILE

  • Jump while wearing it.

and this guy that is taking a walk looks like he needs to take a leek

  • Do you have it in size 12 US shoe please?

  • you and your ideas.... asia what are you thinking of next

  • i rather not walk around without something on my crotch all day lol

  • wow thats a brilliant idea, it takes the weight off the knees and ankles. Just think though if you're job requires you to stand up all day this could drastically reduce lower back stress, repetitive knee joint injury and improve worker stamina!

  • Great for people finding it difficult to walk up the stairs.

  • but if the batterie runs out while ur using it, u will have no shoes

  • Chell from Portal

  • can't wait to get my own nutcrusher 3000!

  • can i jump higher if i use that :D?

  • this is good for the whiteman since he HAS NOTHING BETWEEN HIS LEGS

  • @AFRICA4AFRICANS shut up u aids ridden cunt.

  • @AFRICA4AFRICANS wow.. wtf why would you bring race into this you dumb ass?

  • @AgrivatedKillah these are the only humans to be nuke...by the whiteman....now your kids cant even add 1 plus 1........

  • The reason why it will be sold to everybody is that Honda is a for profit company. It would be ridiculous to make these only for handicap people and destroy its potential growth.

  • well normal people in america are getting fatter so why not it will help them walk it off.

  • doesnt seem crotch friendly

  • thing killing sport

  • Why is the sketch tying his penis to his shoes?

  • @lho77 You pervert!!! HAHAHA!!! Nice!

  • I hate how all of this is marketed to normal people...If you can walk than you don't need one of these. If you have some sort of disability though then this is a wonderful invention.

  • @Mraajdar

But isn't prevention of injury doing those jobs better?

  • The problem is that you would still need to have leg power to use it, so the people saying that paraplegics could use it, is kind of out. Over weight people just need to walk and get some exercise. Use water if you really need help with exercising with the weight.

The best application for this that I see, is for manufacturing purposes. Workers who can carry large loads with reduced back injury risks. Add a support to another until for arms? You got yourself a mech suit! Woo!

  • This is cool, but I know some people with balance issues. Make an Asimo that can carry them on its back, or inside its chest.

  • You have to have difficulties with walking and standing to really appreciate how cool this is for people who need it. A little less than graceful, but maybe that will improve. Can't imagine the cost....

  • i hope that they improve the design! its kinda creepy the guy looks like a faun

  • what happens if someone decides to run in one of these? and will there be a weight limit to it? there are some overweight (for lack of another politically correct term) people who might use this, it may also be viewed as a chance for those who have leg problems due to such reasons, to lose weight and such... though i can also see it being used for increased laziness.

  • What about paraplegia? I'm an L2 SCI survivor & can walk with the use of forearm crutches but use the chair 99% of the time.

  • Bad idea...

  • As a polio survivor and one who appreciates the implications of an aging population, I am fascinated by the potential of these new technologies.

  • I work at a senior home, and I really think this will be the innovation that will remove all the walking aids out there. Patients suffering from Parkinson would really benefit from this. Walking frames will become obsolete.

  • @TheMasterpiece911

unfortunetly crutches shall still be a requirment to those who have broken a leg.

  • @fireman2555 true, i think i was too euphoric when i wrote the first comment :D

  • True design for the rest of us;

    Just whatg I need!

Situastion: I have hard time walking and it getting worst as to my balance? CAn it controle a balancing aswell?

I don't want to get stock in a wheel chair... When ready for market? and at what price?

  • One step closer to Wall-E level humans.

  • Натирать промежность будет сильно по идее. См на подвижность сидения вокруг своей оси, в ролике особенно заметно во время ходьбы.

  • has potential for sure.

  • You would look like such a douche walking around with those haha

  • God that looks painful. Its nice to see a working prototype but does it really aid.. independent review!!!

  • that's one aspect of forth convergence (human-machine) ;)

  • While some can't afford food, Honda have solved the world wide walking crisis. Great job.

  • @jas16899 why blame it on Honda? blame it on ur Gov. Ur comment r just ridiculous.

its like "While some can't afford food, you just on youtube giving shitty comment"

  • @thaserty It's not a shitty comment it's one about their focus. And yes I do politicians for a lot of shit here and in real life baby, and yeah I help people out when I can but I'm not a privileged individual I am a minority.

  • is there going to be a reinforced version for americans?

  • Anything that gets people UP and OFF their hiney and moving around - I'm for 100%!! If I were disabled I would definitely want to try this. It's sad to see the atrophy of muscles in the legs of folks who are wheelchair bound. Honda is only showing small, slim, healthy people using this....the real test would be for the disabled.

  • will it blend?

  • I commend Honda for working on stuff like this but if healthy people are going to use it for everyday applications like walking they're going to have to lower the "Dork Coefficient" substantially.... Or maybe we'll just get used to them.

  • I understand older people using it, what a great idea for mobility bravo honda. However in this video its trying to show everyday people using it, thats ummm lazy.

  • @remmus2k depending on your occupation , you may see younger folks hurt daily by overuse in the workplace . This idea helps prevent that also. It also helps strengthen muscles so that they eventually don't need to used it later .

  • @remmus2k dude, people are already fukn lazy. we drive cars, we take buses, we fly planes, we sit at home watching tv, i think thats lazy enough. try walking to work or walking to your vacation, then u can talk bad on being lazy, until then, just be quiet

  • @remmus2k they are just showing the device not really using it i think

  • so people who are overwieght or are flatfooted should deal with the constant back pain until they're old?

  • For those of with health problems which will over time increase mobility problems in genreal that looks quite promising.

  • I think it's great that Honda is not allowing themselves to be constrained to the historical forms of human mobility. Rather they are focusing on the core goal and allowing themselves to achieve that goal via any means available.

Media companies should take a cue. They should focus more on their fundamental goal of content creation and allow for delivery via any means that viewers want rather than being shackled to their historical distribution mediums.

    Bravo Honda!!

  • Strangely enough, I am reminded of the Borg (not the Swedish ones)

  • Honda won't be happy until they're responsible for robots taking over the world....

  • I like Honda

Tôi Yêu Việt Nam . .. đồng

  • Yeah, this will never catch on. I've seen a few vaguely similar movement augmentation systems, but this thing just looks ridiculous, not to mention uncomfortable. Whether it is or not, it doesn't look like it, and that'll keep people from shelling out the mint they'll no doubt charge for it.

  • @GenaTrius sit in a wheelchair for a decade and say the same thing pal...

your response is typical those that don't need this device.

for those of us that "might" be able to use it, it's a breath of fresh air!

  • Oddly enough, I didn't think of it like that! Maybe they should have put in a cartoon of a guy out of a wheel chair using it or something to make the project's intended purpose clearer.

  • Umm, looks like it's gunna hurt my balls.

  • For those of you who think Honda is trying to make the world fatter, guess again! I'll bet you would think differently if your sorry ass was in a wheelchair!

  • Greta idea! One, my aging parents could use around stairs and long walks. As for "obese society machines"? LOL! ...people don't need this 'excuse' to become more obese then they already are.

  • Maybe it's a sept in the right direction for people with muscle problems or deficiency.

I know that it would have made things easier for my mom. (Lou Gehrig's disease)

Who know's! before we realize...it'll replace wheelchairs.

  • Honda... working hard to make the world fat...

  • innovation does have limits, obviously honda wants to limit how much we use our own muscles. Lets make our obese society machines to help them walk. Honda should stick to cars and lawn mowers

  • As a former avid hiker and backpacker who can no longer walk a city block due to spine injury, , I would love to have the option of renting one for a day in the back country or even a stroll on the beach.

  • this is cool but it makes ya walk like a duck

  • i believe women , i mean real women would never want to get off this thing. no pun intended

  • I could use this since I am disabled & cannot walk well. Too bad I cannot afford one.

  • yeah, that doesnt look awkward or anything

  • this is a modern version of an old Idea. Remember "flubber" on the nutty professor.

  • Put som fila shoes on that puppy and you got yourself a product that'll sell.

  • Imagine people who are stroke victims being able to have mobility

  • So much better than a wheelchair.

  • A crotch rocket!

Amp up the speed, Can you make it kangaroo hop?

Best laugh I had all day!!!

  • wtf? the whole point of hiking is the walking??

    this is retarded

  • tbh anything that can help people walk who previously have been unable to do so is a fantastic endeavor.

  • Comment removed

  • @joshpit2003 indeed. You are proving yourself to be oblivious of people with disabilities.

  • Not to be rude, but it looks like it is very uncomfortable. Maybe, improve the design slightly a bit more and then it might be a better market

  • not to be gross...but it looked like he grew a penis for a second.

  • I bet this thing is fuel efficient, especially if it runs on fart gas! This looks terribly uncomfortable. Seriously Honda, what were you thinking? If you want us fat and lazy Americans to move around more, then you'd be more successful making non removable head gear to hang a pack of Twinkies in front of us.

  • @dsouth01 weren't you going to show us what you have done with your life on YouTube today?...

  • on second thought, maybe the older people might need this. just looking at the older people walking on the street i think they really need this. But not for freakin kids and people that can walk.

  • this is so wrong on so many different levels, I'm a fat obese immobile lazy american, i don't need someone to invent a device to help me get about. I'm happy staying put in my lazyboy with my remote in my living room with my beef jerky and soda pop. Fuck off innovation.

  • Fuck off innovation! They've been talking for 20-more years now about hydrogen engines... Ever seen one in the streets? Focus on this instead of a walking toilet-seat!!!

  • .........no.

  • Have you seen WallE? This is just the beginning. The end is when we all ride on floating chairs. Pretty soon we won't have to feed ourselves either. I suppose this is good for people with disability though.

  • lol at 53: looks like you know what...

  • The comments about this causing America to get fatter just baffle me. It doesn't walk for you, it just helps support your bodyweight. This could be so useful to people with knee/back/hip/etc problems. Standing for long periods of time or having to support body weight while you're crouching down can be really hard on different parts of your body. This is amazing. Good job Honda (:

  • This is really cool. I hope this becomes more advanced and more affordable when I get really old.

  • so when are you going to sell this, i have 4 family members in the hospital waiting for this to be available

  • HONDA what the @$&#! is this! That looks painful. Humans should just stop being lazy! Focus more on VROOM VROOM! Like a all wheel drive INTEGRA (RSX) with a supercharger =D

  • @V3NOMk20DC5 hellyeah, man this might be the reason for people being more obese in the future wtf!!! exercise thats all you need and loose some of the baggage's you have. Just put all that idea on a car that is hybrid that can go really fast!!!

  • Glad someone agrees. lol

  • I see that working a LOT better than a walker. GO HONDA!!! :^)

  • will it protect against nut shots?

  • @patrickt777 Air bags dude! It's got airbags.

  • @patrickt777 this is a womans toy!!

  • @patrickt777 why? do people run up to you and kick u in the nuts everyday?

  • im going to buy a plantation full and they will build my country! haha!

  • hehe

  • i love honda's fwd cars...i drive a civic si, but rwd is still something, it just feels right, you still need rwd for the proper sports car motoring feel. the s2k was absolutely brilliant and i seriously believe honda should look into rwd again soon...all its competition companies are going with it like toyota, nissan, etc

  • 2:25 <-- Is that the new Odyssey???

  • so what if we trip? do we have to lay there and get the shoes off then stand back up and put it all back on again?

  • wanna make people move? how bout a rear wheel drive sports car? no hybrid please.

  • They kinda already did that.. AP1 er 2 i guess. That didn't do as well as it could. So Honda is pretty much going for nothing but clean fuel efficient cars and that sort of thing. That's kinda where the market is going now with gas prices and such. So don't expect Honda to come out with any more sports cars at all any time soon. And business wise it seems that's the better move to make at the moment.

  • BUT HONDA IS ABOUT PERFORMANCE AND RACING TOO. The founder of Honda was really into performance and racing.

  • @c312eal you're right..the original founder of Honda was called the Japanese Henry ford because honda is the only Japanese car company that was founded by a man to make engines first and money hopefully. all the other Japanese car companies were founded by other corporations wanting to make money.

  • @sisou14 yeah that's true but even Toyota is making sports cars like bring back the famous 86 with a Subaru boxer engine and the Lexus lfa...Honda needs to make something to compete and when Honda puts their souls back into a pure drivers car it's really hard to beat vtec

  • Just bring back the NA2 NSX Type R. Slap a V10 Longitudinal engine in it. Put a intake snorkel for the engine they the ones they have in Super GT. Rework the suspension and brakes so it can handle the power of the V10. There you go Honda's new super car. That wasn't too hard LOL

  • i nominate you to be the new CEO of Honda

  • I haven't really heard of them making a corolla with a subi engine but that would be awesome. However, you do know that the LFA cost over 300 grand which cost more than most of the other super cars within it's competition and for each model they sell they barely make any money. While efficient cars are what a lot of people are looking for these days like hybrids and such, which do you think more people are going to buy?

  • Yeah the Toyota with the boxer engine is a reality. How is Nissan able to do the GT-R which has similar performance to the the LFA for 80k then?

  • really?

ok 80 grand.. and and estimated 375000.. thats more than 4 times the price! you could buy 4 GTRs with money to spare. and keep in mind they pretty much won't make any money from each one that they sell....

  • that's what i don't get, how does the lfa cost that much to lexus, you know it costs ferrari about 50k to make an f430

  • well the LFA is lexus's first super car and has been in the works for about 9 years and along the way im sure things weren't cheap. And it's also that being lexus you don't expect a big oh expensive super car, that hasn't been what they've been know for at all while farrari and lambo and such that's the only thing they're known for so of course they have a decent consumer.

  • Comment removed

  • sounds to me like a new reason for america to get fatter

  • @crf250riderx Sadly you are closer to the truth than you know. If machines start doing the work people can do normally then humans get fatter and end up like the ones in the movie "WALL-E". Just blobs in a chair. *shivers at the thought*.

  • The Penis mobile

  • I wish they made a BLACK AISMO
