Dr Nakir Zaik is very impressive in this video: an erudite and charming man . However, for an agnostic the question of whether Jesus was the Son of God or a messenger of God is irrelevant.. The important question for an agnostic is: how do you know that the Prophet Mohammed was truly a messenger of God? The fact is, you don't know and you can't prove it, anymore than you can prove that Jesus was or wasn't the Son of God. Correct?

Killings also occur commonly within Christian societies, African-Americans were killed and tortured by extremist southern christians in the 1960's (KKK), and even today some christian cults commit mass suicides or murder for their own causes. Every religion contains their own extremist, become more educated before you insult Muslims.

@djanielamy Makes perfect sense to me as a Muslim.. The verses you've quoted reaffirm the unique oneness of God and confirm the messengership of Jesus Christ (pbuh). It does not attribute divinity to Jesus Christ. If you acknowledge Jesus is a 'messenger of God' then obviously you acknowledge and believe in the God who sent him. "You do not know him but I know him." Didn't the disciples know Jesus Christ? Hint: Jesus and God are not one and the same. "sent me" ie. Messenger of God.

Same can be said about Jesus & the rest of the Prophets. However, they were sent for their people at a specific given time. Just to share with all, Christians and Muslims alike. I am a Christian myself, and I would like to remind everybody to remain calm and civil. It is really good that Christians and Muslims are having dialogue. What the video showed was an argumentative exchange based on human understanding and human logic. Killings also occur commonly within Christian societies, African-Americans were killed and tortured by extremist southern christians in the 1960's (KKK), and even today some christian cults commit mass suicides or murder for their own causes. Every religion contains their own extremist, become more educated before you insult Muslims.

@djanielamy Makes perfect sense to me as a Muslim.. The verses you've quoted reaffirm the unique oneness of God and confirm the messengership of Jesus Christ (pbuh). It does not attribute divinity to Jesus Christ. If you acknowledge Jesus is a 'messenger of God' then obviously you acknowledge and believe in the God who sent him. "You do not know him but I know him." Didn't the disciples know Jesus Christ? Hint: Jesus and God are not one and the same. "sent me" ie. Messenger of God.

SIMPLE: you can believe what you want as long as it is not imposed upon others. you cannot kill or hurt someone for not believing as you do. period. to claim you can is to bring violence upon yourself from others simply in their self defense. the mormon church should also heed this realization. it's not complicated.

@siraganda What's wrong with discussion & critical thinking? We believe none came to Father at the time of Moses except through Moses (following him). Same can be said about Jesus & the rest of the Prophets. However, they were sent for their people at a specific given time. Today, we have the final testament (the Quran) and the seal of all Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon them all). The Quran & traditions of Prophet Muhammad are preserved in its original language, unadulterated for a reason :]

It is really good that Christians and Muslims are having dialogue. What the video showed was an argumentative exchange based on human understanding and human logic. @siraganda God's Word is powerful and as said in Isaiah 55 - "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (KJV) We believe that God's Word cannot be changed or lost and contains truth.

@siraganda We are convinced of this, and not by our own perception or understanding. Dr. Naik is a very learned man, but he does not have full understanding of the Christian faith and why we no longer hold fast to the levitical or mosaic laws, but instead, we hold to Christ Himself. Even so, Dr. Naik gives us a strong good reminder about how much we must follow the One we love.

Unlike other religions, apparently its a 'sin' to ask logic questions e.g. go to church ask the priest about the story of Noah in the Bible being called an alcoholic, the average man 2day cant hold a 9-5 job let alone the job Noah (peace be upon him) did, why would God say he was an alcoholic? He was 1 of the best prophets known in islam! Again ask about what the Bible says about the story of Lut & David etc...!

Jesus is the son of God, the Bible clearly states this is my begotten son, and in another passage it say no man cometh to Father but by me (Jesus Christ). The Bible is the only religious book of Abraham that has passages directly concerning the subject of Love. Indeed the Bible is the only book that proclaims the love of God to all people. Amazingly the Bible also states that faith is less important than love, and that is coming from the book which is all about faith in God. I have read the Bible, and I have read the Qur'an.
