  • hi:D Thanks im only 12 my nana gave me hers and im doing this but i dont know what to make oout of it like a hat a scarf? im ver confused

  • ! thank you so much my scarf turned out great!

  • I bought this online store at Target. It may still be available on the home shopping network.

  • Hi! Where I can buy this circular knitting machine?

  • Hi

I have an extra green needle that I don't think should have come off the machine. Is this a very important piece of the machine? The machine would not go around like it should, but since this piece is not with the machine, the machine works perfectly now. Can someone explain if this is a major part of the machine.

    Thanks so much

  • @rhubarb789 If you mean a needle like a sewing needle, you will need that to cast off and also to sew pieces together. But if it looks like the one from the machine, it still would work but you would have a gap. There is one coloured needle at the machine and it would indicate that you have knitted a full circle provided you start cast on this same needle. But if your machine is working fine, it sounds like it's the needle that looks like a regular sewing needle.

  • Can you make winter hats with this?

  • @Zambaku Yes you can!

  • Will you being doing any additional videos exhibiting items made with your Innovations Machine? What yarns work best with this machine?

  • @HJKelley47 Yes I will be doing more videos. I have perfected some patterns and tested it. Most yarns will work except the swift and thick yarns. I got by "feel." If it is difficult to turn the handle, do not force it. Change to a thinner yarn.

  • Donde puedo en Santiago de Chile comprar esta maquina?

  • @zaporoty Lo siento no se puede usted comprar esta maquina en Santiago de Chile. Compro esta maquina al internet ala tienda de Target.

  • where you got that knitting machine from?

  • @MrKijan

I purchased it online from Target.com. You can check also tv shopping channels or ebay.

  • Spray a light coat of Silicone on the needles before starting. I would try a smaller yarn - like baby yarn, perle cotton. Some worsted weight yarn might work, wool or cotton is okay. Acrylic worsted weight didn't work well for me.

  • Great tip. I almost forgot about that. I used that on my Bond machine. Thanks for reminding me ; )

Yes, the smaller yarns work well. I use my bond for the thicker yarns.

  • gosh! it would help if you did not have all the backround noise!

  • Sorry for the noise. This is only a homemade video.

  • what happens if you have a knot on the yarn.or if its gets tangle up.how do you get it out

  • If you get a knot on your yarn, pull on both ends of where the knot is until it becomes very small. Then try to slowly work it into your knitting by giving or pulling on the yarn gently as long as the handle will crank well.

  • I bought one and it is not working... I knit faster by hand. I spend $80.00... I don't know what to do with it. I am going to throw it in the garbage. What a waste of money:(......

  • Maybe you could return the machine as it may be defective. Also, I does not work on very thick yarns.

  • I have been watching your videos they are great....but mine doesn't knit like yours. I even bought those kids with 20 needles I noticed they are not good as yours... I bought singer and another brand and returned it the next day. Had to see if they were working or not.

But, I am not going to quit and keep on working ont this machine and will see what is going to happen...

    Thank you for your comment

  • thank you for your video ,,,i bought same machines but i want to make pillow or blanket for my baby...can you show me how circel yarn in machine becouse when i put the yearn opened ...help me plz,,,thanks

  • You will have to knit flat panels and sew it together. I still have the video on knitting flat panels in progress and will upload once I have perfected the technique. Thanks for watching.

  • ok thank you i'm waiting

  • I am a seasoned crafter, needlecrafter, etc., but the instructions were not as helpful as your video. Thank you so much!

  • You're welcome. I'm glad the video helps!

    Happy knitting.

  • how fast can those things make a hoat or scarf?

  • It takes about 30 minutes to make a hat and approximately an hour granting that your yarn does not snag and runs smoothly on your machine.

  • Thank you=]

  • This is very helpful. I am seriously thingking of getting one. I have a question. How can 44 needles produce a hat that is big enough? On the average, my hat is about 9" diameter with about >70 cast on using circular needle. Will this machine able to give me the same volume and tension?

  • The caps I make fit a man's head. The thinner the yarn, like a 3 ply wool, has more "give" and stretch. It's as if you were using a larger needle. I imagine that 70 cast on is because the knitting needle is smaller? On my bond, it is 60 cast on stiches and the caps were too big so I am unsure on the volume and tension as I haven't handknitted in a long time. But to have this is a joy and projects are finished faster!

  • Oh Thank you very much! I figured it out. The machine was pretty new when I was posted this message. I've completed three scarves. I'm still working with the flat panel side of this. You have to be more careful with the flat panel and I keep getting dropped stitches.

  • Hello, I just got my Innovations Knitting Machine today and am trying to follow your video to thread. I can get all of the "every other posts" done for the first round. Should my crank be in clockwise or counterclockwise? I'm trying to do this for a scarf so my lever is up. And, which way to crank when I've got the first row complete?

  • The crank should be clockwise and counter clockwise when removing your work from the machine.

  • You should get a medal for your vidio. I got this machine and threw it in the corner because I could not get it to work. I tried it your way and it threaded right up. Please do something on the flat panel as I need to make shawls

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! i got this machine yesterday and the directions were very confusing ...so i want to thank you so much for all your help!!!!

  • You're welcome! I'm glad the video helps. Happy knitting!

  • FYI - You're not using you're not threading your yarn through the yarn guide properly.

  • The yarn wrapped this way enable the machine to crank smoothly. Using all the loops on the yarn guide made the yarn too tight. It all depends on the thickness of the yarn to enable your machine to turn smoothly so it doesn't get damaged. But thanks for your concern.

  • THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! Im getting this machine tomorrow and now i understand! ty!!!!! ur videos r VERY detailed and explain alot! i cant wait to try this machine! and im jelous i dont have mine yet but i still am happy someone is very detailed on this knitting machine!:)

  • Thanks for the FYI. Though sometimes, the yarn pulled from the center is many times entagled and difficult to pull out. But yes, center is best if it comes out smoothly.

  • FYI. Most balls of yarn are meant to be pulled from the centre. That way the twist in the yarn is in the correct direction for knitting, and do not have to chase it around the room because it will not roll around much.

  • Thanks for the video! I just bought this knittng machine. How do you fix dropped stitches? Have you ever made flat panels on this? Do I still thread the same way if I want to do a flat panel? Any help is appreciated!

  • Dropped stiches are worked like as in a flat bed knitting machine but a little tricky. I will upload when I've perfected an easy way. On the flat panels, yes, it is threaded the same way but loops are formed. I will be uploading that video soon. Thanks for watching! best to you.

  • That's so cool! I am a hand knitter and crocheter, and I am so slow! Lol. I am making a Harry Potter scarf on circular needles so that it is double thick and has no wrong side, and it is taking FOREVER! I definately want to look into this machine...It looks great!

  • I got my machine and I made myself a hat. I wear it and everybody on the street like it and stared at me cause it so cute and then a clerk at the store said "it's so cute". I knit everybody in my family and in law a hat. Thank you for the videos. I even bought another little tubular machine so that I can make sock :)

  • I'm glad the video helps. I also have smaller circular machines which I 'm going to upload on my next video. On the socks, for more elasticity, you can crochet 3 chain stiches between each loop when you cast off and that will give you enough slack when you put your socks on. That is on my video line up. Happy knitting!

  • Thank you for showing the video. I am waiting for the machine to be ship. I can't wait to get start.

  • You're welcome. I'm grateful for the feedback knowing my video helps!
