This is just a little tiny portable/practice amp and wouldn't be loud enough to play for much more than an audience of 4 and certainly not with drums.
Check out the Vox VT30 at Georges Music Online for a similar but more suitable amp for your situation.
@ElectricSunshine96 It's probably the best for a pocket amp though, but if you want something louder you're gonna have to go beyond a pocket amp and more of a portable amp.
You can certainly plug an acoustic guitar into this unit and get distortion tones, but an acoustic plugged into an amp will always sound different than an electric guitar plugged into an amp.
I just picked one up at my local store and like it quite a bit. I already liked my AC30 Amplug for headphone playing and with the cabinet it's a much better sound than the Fender micro amp I already had. Won't replace my "real" amp, but it is a nice option for something more portable when I don't need a lot of volume and very versatile!
what would you recommend, this or the Marshall MS-2 MICRO AMP, it's only a matter of 10 bucks, and I can't choose from theese two

So wait, what makes the cab sound, the VOX or the cabinet itself? If not the VOX, wouldn't it sound terrible with headphones?

How loud does the duo get? I need something to play for 25 or so people, I'll also have drums and such around me as well.

@ElectricSunshine96 Not nearly that loud!

does plugging it to an acoustic guitar make the same sounds?

@kks2pidluv10 Yes...kind of.

one question: does the cabinet work with the amplug bass?? will it have problem??
GustheReaper 1 year ago
@GustheReaper Yes, this will work just fine with the Amplug bass. However, it's only a 3" speaker so don't expect to hear much from those low tones!

Is that guitar a Fender American Deluxe Strat?

there is and something better than this little amp... there is marshall microamps which are very better than this...
kostasaekmiazoi 2 years ago
Does it fit the amplug? Cause I already have one - and so the external mini cabs would be a nice accessory to have.

marshall micro amps are shit. amplugs are way better.

hey question... do u need to plug it in on a input or something?
Kessa6809 2 years ago
Hi Kessa6809,
Not sure what you mean...but the connection couldn't be simpler.
Plug your guitar into the Amplug Cabinet, and plug your Amplug into the top of the cab, then plug the attached 1/8" cable into the Amplug.
Done!
