  • Who's playing the banjo when the thing gets running? Can you turn the banjo CV to zero?

  • Is there away to program the sound of the fireman ex. the scooping of the coal and other things like that?

  • Tsunami Decoder ? dsd 101

  • I don,t care what anybody says this is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!. The sound and the clanking rod makes it sound so muh more real. Keep up the good work.

  • @originalgrump100 There are 23 volume settings in the Tsunami. The clank-clunk (conrod clank) can be turned off if you wish. The clunk on the video was turned up a bit for the video. Most of my steamers have it turned off.

  • @Gerrymmr

Wondering if you had attempted playing with the setting for the reverb ,would really like to hear this effect.

  • Gerry, what's the sound that sounds-like someone plucking a lo tension guitar string, around 5:40 - 5:47??? Very off-putting sound in a steam loco, at least when heard via YT...

  • @profklyzlr Conrod Clank...it is the rods clanking together, a very common noise on American steam engines

  • Very nice layout! but whats up with the "thing" on the tender?

  • its a fat lady, he using it to show how smooth an operation is when finely adjusted

  • do you know of how to do this with any other DCC system? maybe a book or some tutorial, i use a NCE Power cab and i'd love if my engines ran and sounded that great!

  • Thanks Gerry for showing how to make sound decoders sound more realistic. As soon as I can afford a sound decoder I'll be trying your setup.
