@originalgrump100 There are 23 volume settings in the Tsunami. The clank-clunk (conrod clank) can be turned off if you wish. The clunk on the video was turned up a bit for the video. Most of my steamers have it turned off.
Gerry, what's the sound that sounds-like someone plucking a lo tension guitar string, around 5:40 - 5:47??? Very off-putting sound in a steam loco, at least when heard via YT...
do you know of how to do this with any other DCC system? maybe a book or some tutorial, i use a NCE Power cab and i'd love if my engines ran and sounded that great!

I don,t care what anybody says this is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!. The sound and the clanking rod makes it sound so muh more real. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Gerry for showing how to make sound decoders sound more realistic. As soon as I can afford a sound decoder I'll be trying your setup.
