I'm rooting for a bichon frise or poodle rescue pup. While doodles (golden or lab) can be great options when bred properly many times there is no reduction in allergies when compared to a regular golden or lab. Either way I'm sure they will conduct a proper "interview" of the first dog candidates. I know many think it's petty but I feel strongly he should rescue and I would be angry if he didn't go the rescue route and went to a breeder with so many options at shelters and rescues.

There are dogs of any breed imaginable at shelters and rescue groups everywhere! Thank you for this great video. The Obamas are my heroes if they adopt a homeless dog! I hope the rest of the country will follow this example so we can empty out shelters across the U.S. DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE BEAUTIFUL, LIFE-LOVING ANIMALS IN THE SHELTER DIE!! Thank you.

We are hoping for this in Colorado. We have some nice golden doodle pups at Mill Rescue - came out of a puppy mill. Don't cause many allergies!
