I remember being at the cork and bottle when you first started playing that red roland synth guitar and van halens why can't this be love. saw many good shows between there and popeye's in the 80's. saw many good bands at bars in the 80's that by all means should have gone mainstream. like the rods. none the less good memories of good times. rock on!
Mark, I got one more memory for you. When I was real young I used to hang out with Jim Ponzi. I recall being at his house and listening to you playing (still learning)smoke on the water at Joe Gilberts house. It was probably your first guitar. Also, Is that Ed Mooha in your pictures. Mind blowing. It was sad what happened to Denkenberger.
Mike My mom just passed away in June at 65. I was in horseheads. We still own the house on Gardner road. Bummer about Dan Denkenberger too. Life is too short...
Mark, I graduated in 1983 from Horseheads. Last time I saw you I was in your firebird or was it a camaro on prospect hill in 1982. Long time ago. I picked up the guitar at the age of 39 and will never stop. I'm glad to see your doing well. So many people in that business crash and burn. If your ever in Horseheads look us up at Soundworks. Do you remember the jocks and the heads. Seems pretty funny now. Mike Wilcox
Mark - saw your axe on the guitar link. Nice playing, and thanks so much for posting the vid. It's always good to hear somebody playing somehting I haven't played before! keep rockin', man!
