@IluvChoclatexD When you installed the game, you may have chosen to create the game files to a different directory. Also, if you have a "The Sims 2" folder in your documents, then the subdirectories will most likely be there.

@IluvChoclatexD First of all, the folders for the Sims 2 which are normally installed in the "My Documents" folder as shown in the video, may have been installed in a different directory. Possibly you have a limited account and the folders were installed to an administrative account's "My Documents". Secondly, yes this works with Windows 7. Thirdly, disregard my installation statement, that applies to the program files, not the project files.

@IluvChoclatexD To my knowledge, this mod does not have any viruses. I have been using it for four years and have not encountered one yet. As far as the folders go, they must be installed somewhere, maybe you could try searching for some of the folder names in your hard drive(s). Also, do you have the original Sims 2, or one of the variants such as Double Deluxe? This could cause the folders to be in another place.

1.) Double deluxe is The Sims 2, just a different version.

2.) While I am very skilled in Windows 7, I don't actually own it, nor do I have it installed.

3.) I do not have a Dell computer, but the manufacturer should not matter, as long as the operating system is supported. (In which case it is.)

Bottom Left: Allows you to rotate objects to any angle, and place them in between grid squares.

I am not exactly sure, I just tried the link and it worked for me. Perhaps you have a type of blocker enabled that is not allowing the link to be opened.

When i tried this download and Tryed to cut the folder into The sims Folder it said i had to insert a disk?

Maybe you needed to have the game's disc one inserted for it to work. Even though you are using the deluxe edition, that should not make a difference because the core game is still installed without any altering.

The doors and windows are one repercussion of using that command. The game will load the doors and windows as regular objects and they will not collide with walls.
