The piece of music is called "Lux Aeterna" by Clint Mansell (at least, the first 2:17 of it). People will call it "Requiem for a Dream" because it came from that movie, and "Requiem for a Tower" because it was also used in... I want to say a Lord of the Rings trailer?
This is a midi arrangement, and it's a lot better when you listen to it in full, with an actual choir and actual instruments, and without my cheesy project over top of it.
What is this music? I keep hearing it! I liked it, Gretchen. The pictures visually capture the mood of the writing, which is good.
