Thats Great work mate. Sod what these other folks think. Yo Liked it so you built it. Not everything in life has to have reason, other than you liked the idea. as for destry it immediately.. Get stuffed is what id say. Then id post them On the net for the whole ruddy world to get and make. Well Done Buddy.
That controller was built by Animal Makers and sold to an effects house in Canada. No rights to reproduce were included. If you have CAD files for the reproduction of this controller, destroy those files immediately. Any public use or public presentation of this work is expressly forbidden in our agreement.
Are you sure you built it? I have the exact same controller and you did not build this one. I could send you a photo if you would like. If you did build it, it is some coincidence that they are exactly the same.
I built the three axis cable controller joystick as a general purpose controller for other animatronic projects. It's actually a very simple mechanical device.
Yep...I'm pretty sure I built this controller in my shop. Admittedly, it was based upon another controller that I saw (imitation is the highest form of flattery) so, to be accurate, while I did build/fabricate this controller (I have Autocad files for the design) it was based upon another's design.
Why would you copy something complecated on the controller that no longer has a purpose? I am refering to the radius cut groove on the side as seen in the video. When we built the controller, it had a purpose but was changed later because it was no longer needed. What pupose does your groove serve?
