Hillary used to be a republican, but when she saw the racism of the repub party, she changed to democrat and helped with the civil rights movement. She is no way, shape, or form, a racist, period.

Giving Hillary the Sec of State position is the equivalent of Wilson giving WJ Bryan that position. This has less to do with qualifications and more to do with offering a member of the party establisment a consolation

Actually scratch that, Bryan almost prevented WW1 and thus the rise of Hitler

The media loves to trash on Hillary or really any powerful woman. I've supported Obama since befor Iowa, but if things had gone differently, I would've easily cast a vote for Hillary. Be that as it may, I'm trying to remain hopeful and optimistic. Hillary is certainly smart enough and capable of being Sectary of State. The real question for me is will Hillary and Obama work well as a team. I think it's going to work out good. Hillary excels at whatever she does. Which helps Barack as well.

I dont know if she will be a good secretary of state or not, i am not fond of Obama/Clinton's foreign policies, it's just the sexism that i am sick of.

I agree. At the end of the day this decision was Obama's responsibilty. He had the mandate for "change" campaigning against Hillary & then he chose a miltarist as his secretary of state. You can't even blame her for that 7 say he needs to watch his back. If anything he's hiding behind her to continue policies his supporters didn't realise he would coninue being war on terror. She was put in her place by the anti Iraq war voters & he alone put her back up there.

I agree I am so SICK of sexist media crap, and I'm a man! In the primaries, the media put Obama on a pedastool and just ripped Hillary to shreds, every victory she got, they bagged on. In the end, it just makes her stronger, but this is not the only woman they did this too. Paris Hilton, and Palin, i can understand, dumb women like that I don't mind. But smart, powerful women like Hillary, and Madonna, and Oprah, the media always rips on.
