  • Like if you were looking for that fella who wanted to floor Pete Waterman!

  • Only the Guardian would interview Pete Waterman as some kind of Post-modern pop culture guru. The realm of the faux- intellectual, that rag

  • find it strange that people can slag someone off and say their music is shit - just because its not their own personal preference. Many people would have (and still do) enjoy some of the music they wrote - so surely its up to the individual that if they enjoy it then its their preference - who are we to slag off anyones personal taste - too many people think they are cool but i bet on a saturday night in any main stream nightclub in the world at least one SAW tune probably gets played.

  • Someone shoot him!

  • This wasn't anything to do with music, everything Pete Waterman wrote was trash, it was about his bank account. He's a con man, he is thick as shit, and cannot write music to save his life. He's managed to make 49 million and has the audacity to complain about losing money to illegal downloads. He is a joke!

  • He helped ruin music + made a ton of cash in the process, one of the most detestable people I've ever seen on tv.

  • @Corrupt5358 That sentance actually applies to both of them.

  • Probably the most famous music producer whose company Stock Aitken and Waterman, who benefited and prospered like so many other small business in Britain in the 1980s directly from the policies Margaret Thatcher. Regardless of wether you like Margaret Thatcher or not. His company prospered immensely from her rule. You could say Pet Waterman Stock Aitken ans waterman produced music that is the soundtrack to Margaret Thatcher's tenure. Margaret Thatcher was against big govt. Championed sm.business

  • The man's a scumbag! An utter turd! A producer of crap!!!

  • if i could have dinner with anyone in showbiz, believe it or not, i would want to have dinner with Pete Waterman..I find this man fascinating..and brilliant... he totally interests me..

  • Pete's a genius. This is the first I have seen him talk. I like his politics. Thanks!

  • the interviewer's question is strange, cos Simon cowell will always be remembered as a music man. he made his money in music, the shows he does is about music and made himself a star. idiot!

  • @jayangli

Simon Cowell's clearly much more interested in money than he is in music. You can see that, right?
