why read on a dsi when you could just go to the library. the dsi is for games :)

@superguy471 Yeah true but it takes less effort to download, convert then transfer than to go to the library, borrow, read, stress about the due date and then come back again. Plus you can bring it with you and it won't clog up more space because it's games and books all in one. :)

Thanks for the useful video. Do you know if I could use Sandisk 8GB Gaming SD Card For Nintendo DSi to do this with? I'm just not sure how I would get the txt file on it? Thanks for your help.

@andiparsons29 Yes I'm sure you can use a Sandisk 8GB as long as it's Micro and will fit in the flashcard such as Acekard or R4. :)

lol go in Adobe reader, only need to copy the pdf text just press Ctrl + A and then Ctrl + C after that, go in Notepad and just press Ctrl + V. in the pdf converter, there is fails and not so good, just do it manually :p much easier

and to all those whoa re wondering, it does work with an r4 card! It wouldn't really matter what version DS ur using (ds lite, dsi), its just the card that effects it. R4 card can't read pdfs, so like the video says your going to have to covert to TXT files, which r4s can read (:

R4's don't work on DSi, so you might want to try R4i which works on DSi

I had a .lit (reader file) instead of a .pdf

So I found online-convert (dot) com. You don't have to download anything but the converted file.

It converts a lot of file types.

Just in case somebody needs this.

I am so pleased that I found your channel! The reason I purchased my DS Lite recently was because I saw that there was potential to use is as a pdf reader! Sure I like games but I really like to read (especially while I am on the transit). The instructions seem a little complicated but I will give it a try. Hopefully i won't have a problem. They have the most variety of free books.

Some of the books are just really impossible to download. They have to be an Ebook and 4shared has ALL of them, unlike those pdf search websites.

Thanks for the informational video. Now I can put some of my wifes favorite books on the DS and surprise her.

You know what would be REALLY cool? If there was a reader for the DS that made use of both screens. Imagine holding the DS so the screens are verticle, and using the touch screen to "turn" the pages with an arrow at the bottom.
