@Sleepy731 barracuda bc30 is the best portable reliable stun gun. Taser is a name brand gun that fires projectiles like the user below me stated. So if you are looking stun gun I'd say barracuda in my opinion but out of their line up the bc30 is the best. The X26 taser brand is the top in the taser category if that's what you are looking for but that cost close to $1000 and a stun gun can go for $60.

they were not demonstrating a stun gun, they were demonstrating a taser, which fires probes and has much higher amperage. In other news... "curry county" is probably the best county name ever!

As an electrician and the son of a Police Officer, I must say that this demonstration was VERY ill advised. The gentleman who volunteered was far too old, and I have to wonder if there was a MD present?

Wow! I will add that it is necessary to determine the efficacy of the product, BUT under clinical conditions to say the least.

@softcellelectrical That "man who volunteered" was a cop himself. Being the son of a police officer, I'm sure you know they have to be hit with them to carry them. You do know that, right?

Asisde from that, being an electrician qualifies you for nothing as far as correctly using a TASER.
