  • HA! HA!

  • Good airplane, good RC equipment... but a really bad pilot...

  • That hurt!lol

  • slightly heavy landing ;)

  • Well it almost made it to the runway.

  • I didn't see anything come off, but it's nice to know your friends will lie to make you feel better.

  • 1:10 is the crash

  • Sounds like it might hurt...

  • Guy at end...douche.

  • Its been said that there are 2 types of RC airplanes,,,ones that have crashed and ones that WILL crash,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no matter how experienced you are. I agree

  • Ouch! Did the engine survive? How about a crash post-mortem video?

  • ya that hurt my wallet

  • lol

  • Oooff

  • Why is it that 90% of RC model crashes start with a crap take off?

This guy needs to stick to a trainer.

  • @duckgeezer

LOL there was a brown out with the RX.. I think you need to look at some of my other videos and tell me if i need a trainer!!! I have a turbine waver do you???

  • @billyd44444 Billy, are you still using the FAAST system from Futaba? any problems?

  • @gmccord1970

I have Used XPS 2.4 for 4 years now without a glitch:):):):):)

  • @billyd44444 You have a brownout and boast to have a turbine waiver. 99% of brownouts are caused by jackasses not properly setting up the rx power supply correctly. If I see you at a funfly getting ready to put your turbine in the air I will be the guy running for cover.

  • @hamslice135

First off I dont use DSM2 i use XPS 2.4 and this video was from years ago...It was proven to be a BAD Dx7 not my fault at all.

  • @billyd44444 most people that comment on these videos are teenagers that think they know more than the rest of us, I use XPS too and it's great

  • @billyd44444 , well no one likes to see a model go in, its a shame spektrum cant be sued for the faulty batch of gear spits are rather twitchy to fly anyway, i think people who make negative comments need to keep them to themself, if you cant say anything nice... say nothing... it is a shame about the model though, i feel for ya there

  • @duckgeezer Let's see you take off, fly and land a warbird Mr. JackAss. Spitfires are one of the most challenging of the warbird groups. They have tremendous p-factor (look it up if you don't know what it is) that pulls the plane to the left which requires careful rudder correction. The rounded wings make them more prone to tip stalling and dropping a wing so to speak. I think you're just envious that you don't have the b^lls to fly one and have to criticize.

  • Bad begining (i.e. takeoff) and bad landing.

  • what are you talking about the worst in life? this was the best one !!

  • Well it WAS a nice bird! This reminds me of when my GP Lancair wing just folded. Not much you can do with structural failures unfortunately. It's all part of the sickness! :D

  • Esperemos que haya habido sobrevivientes...¡¡¡¡¡¡ XD

  • ACHTUNG! Der Spitfeuer ist KAPUT!

  • Sorry about your plane, homes... I know how it stings right in the left ventricle when you see em go down and you hear that "CRUMP!" from all that way away. Haven't had a bad one in a long time but...

  • Best commentary I've ever heard or seen on the Net about RC aircraft crashes is that YOU WILL CRASH - everyone does! Any RC pilot that mocks another because they crashed needs to be laughed at when it happens to them and laughed at harder when they try explain their way out of it, just for a little perspective. I've had em anywhere from mild to devastating and I know, it's just the way of things. If you're an RC pilot and you've never crashed, odds are extremely high that you're just not flying.

  • If you can still identify parts then I still have you beat bro!

  • Lol

  • NOOB

  • That hurt me

  • All i could see was an angry bee in the distance....

  • bin.

  • Push 7 for... well yeah, you know.

  • drunken pilot...?

  • under powered elevator servo, and or receiver failure, I had it happen to me but I listened to the old timers for the servo and the newer guy's for the receiver, spektrum works great and dual antenna for better recption sorry for your loss

  • the hauling of ass!!, lol..ive done that..sucks, but fun..also why i love carbon fiber rods and epoxy!!

  • 95% of statistics are made up on the spot!

  • "tail left the plane" i didnt see nothing break off that plane, but i did see the capt sleeping on that dive lol!!!

  • Servos went crazy, I assume? lol what radio system are you running on?

  • 3rd times the charm ;)

  • Thumbs up if you always wait to see the crash because you are afraid to skip through some of the video because you think you will miss the crash!

  • Tough day Billy. Stupid prop planes :)

  • That'll buff right out.

  • what exactly happened?

  • WHEN IN DOUBT PUNCH IT OUT!!!!

  • i hate that sound. was a nice spitfire too.

  • wtf happend ?

  • BIFF

  • zz...zzz...zzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZ *THUD*

  • good job

  • My, my, - I can't give a thumbs up that one, you know what I'm saying? I love building them, but that's why I never fly them. I have a Piper Cub that isn't wrapped yet I just look at and pretend it's flying.

  • Thunk! Is he ded?

  • It sounded great.The engine i mean....not the SCCHHHHHHMACKKK!!!!

I crashed my Hangar 9 Spitfire and got that on my channel too.....but its lame compared to this guys. I wonder if he rebuilt it :-)

  • Holly molly, total wreck....!

  • Man you took off way below stall speed, you got lucky there. The crash wasn't your fault though sometimes things come loose. That was one of the loudest thunks I have ever heard on a RC crash.

  • Dude I am sorry for your lost !! But what happended that crash? pilot error?? or mechanical error??

  • that hurt!

  • i thought it was gonna explode! D:

  • most RC crashes begin with a crap take off.

stick to a trainer until you're ready for a scale model.

  • Thats a real kick in the balls

  • i dont even fly these planes and that hurt me to watch. i guess it saw seeing that cool old warbird just thunkin right into the ground.

  • try dupont waitless drywall at walmart. I never used it, but its the best because drywall has to be punched and break a bone. I'm not as strong as the drywall I've had fix. Make lots of j20's too *O.

  • Some planes just aren't meant to be.

  • That bone crunching sound of impact, We've all had a plane do it - mine was a PT-40 I had flown 4-5 times a week for a year straight, one day in a cuban 8 I snapped a wing..and heard the same bone crunching impact.

  • abit of glue and you'll have it flying in no time !!

  • that really hurt mentrua

  • Ever thought about cleaning the camera lens before you start filming?

  • That hurt!

  • Well with all that being said...I'm not to sure the heavy G loads placed on it after having already had 2 prior ground engagements was to prudent .. It would appear all thats really needed is just more flight time and some gentle control imputs, now If I could just get this armchair to taxi out...

  • So much money....

  • exact same thing happened to me. the link to the elevator came off then boom!

  • I think i saw a glimpse of Mr. Galland up there smiling down at us ;-)

  • I hate crashes as much as I do run away planes.

Crashed my first 3 airplanes on their maiden flights. :-/ 4th plane crashed after about 20 hours, the cheapie engine that was in it became a grenade upon contact with asphalt, only thing that survived was my Rx. I didn't have that much into the airplane except for running gear but still...

  • that hurt your wallet book.

  • hey, if you havent crashed one, you arent flying !!! Plain and simple....

  • That's what you get for being too damn lazy to even put the damn cowling on the poor thing. Not to mention over-powering the plane and flying it as though it's an RC dune buggy. How dare you deface a SPITFIRE in this way. Disgraceful... you should be ashamed of yourself.

  • I cant stand these Youtube critics on here. Sorry about your plane Billy. Thanks for posting!

  • The tail did not come off the airplane even after the crash.

  • Here's a message to all the armchair critics: Get out from Flight Simulator, build a plane, and let's see YOU fly it. Here's a guy who is enjoying his plane, and has the guts to post a video of his crash. Alot more than I see from some commenters here. "Lousy take off". Were you there, dipsh!t? Heard of wind gusts, a bump in the pavement, or anything like that? Duh. Looked to me a pretty capable pilot whose plane failed. People amaze me.

  • @ToyKingWonder way to stick it to "the man"!!

  • @ToyKingWonder I agree. I flew simulators a lot just for fun, but I had enough respect for the skill it takes in real life that I bought a trainer first. People think it's easy because they use a simulator just fine, but all a simulator does is help you be quick about knowing which controls do what. If you crash in a simulator you just reset, you crash in real life and it can cost a lot of money.

  • that hurt.

  • "There's the motor!" LOL

  • you look like a pathologist i used to hate. love the spitfire befor the crash.

  • thankyou, thankyou for that

  • That sucks I'd b pissed

  • that is why i dont like gas rc planes

  • SAD WOMANLESS BASTARDS>>> STOP ACTING LIKE CHILDREN

  • tail came off? its still attached to the wreckage. must have been something else, did you ever find out what happened?

  • that really hurts

  • Person 1: OH NO!?

    Person 2: GYAHH!?

Person 3: T-tttail Left the plainn..

    Me: LMFAO!!!

  • hard to see...

  • everyone crashes, even the best

  • Haha, i love the guys who say you can't fly. Everybody got a bad day. If you never had one, than be carefull cause this day will come soon!

  • @alex92bball

Thank you!!! I have my Turbine Waver now "But I can't Fly" LOL

  • @billyd44444 haha ;D like i said, everybody can have a bad day, i had one, too. My brandnew Discus, first flight --> Crash. If you really couldn't fly, then you couldn't even start the plane... So i guess, even these guys can't fly... :D

  • @billyd44444 do you also fly helicopters?

  • @billyd44444 Try flying on a slower throttle ..you dont need full power when your flying ..it will give you more time to respond ..give full throttle only when your coming for a fly by or performing a maneuver ..Try it ..it will actually help !

  • @billyd44444 I can tell you're a good pilot because the first plane i bought crashed within 5 seconds of takeoff, it nosedived into the ground :P my second one i was OK with, but the propeller came off mid-flight, so it hit a tree and the wing snapped :P maybe i should spend more than $100/£60 next time :)

  • @billyd44444 LMAO!

  • *thud*

  • you don't know how to fly

  • wat did u guys do withe motor and was the motor petorle

  • This video just reminded me that a person can be killed by one of these things! I still dont know what he means by 3rd try with this plane

  • KAMIKAZEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That was a pretty piss-poor takeoff.

  • no survivors this time

  • guess what he's getting for Christmas..

  • That hurt That hurt!!

  • i gave up flyin RC cos I couldnt see the dam things - they took off, became a black dot and crashed, darn eyesight good for nothin

  • @GraemeSPa bad eye sight?

  • If it have to much speed it will go down. I dont know why. Not fun for you plane to crash :(

  • nnnnneeeeeeeeeeaaaoowww!!!

  • Buzzkill

  • How much did that cost? Looked like an expensive crash...

  • It was a nitro planes aircraft? no wonder...

  • 1:10 look at his shadow he just stands there for like 20 seconds like SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

  • What a shame. Good luck next plane. Check out my giant killer robot project vids

  • HEY LET ME JUST USE ALL CAPS THAT WAY IM GOING TO LOOK BADASS ON THE INTERNET.

  • hahahahahahahaha!!!! epic fail!!!!

  • In this case...3rd time...wasn't a charm....

  • @worldscast it's not racist if it's true.

  • rofl lolol

  • it looked like the plane was unstable on take off!

  • Comment removed

  • It would be funnier if he was japanies.

  • @icutrolling its spelled japanese, racist.

  • ouch.

  • THAT HURT THAT HURT

  • Ever consider cleaning your camera lens?

  • holy shit 1:27

  • oh shit 1:30

  • oh shit 1:31

  • Probably shouldn't have had that third attempt...

  • Nothing that a blob of Blu-Tac wont sort out

  • Know way is this 71" or are you a giant?

  • crash at 1:01

  • Comment removed

  • even a crashed spitfire looks nicer than a messeacherscchmitt

  • I can tell by the awful take off that you're not ready for this kind of model; radio failure or not.

  • zo dat was een harde klap

  • LOL!!!! 1::09 SPLAAAATTT!!!!!

  • bloody sneaky germans....

  • where do you get bigger planes

  • i think every rc flyer has a buddy who says.... "theres the battery pack"

  • poor money

  • #FAIL

  • that hurts-that hurts

  • That hurt!

You bet dat hurt, I felt it and I'm all the way over by dare.

  • that hurt

  • I've done worse.

  • man fucking germanys shooting are planes down

  • Did it hurt LOL !

Seriously though, commiserations... Must have been real expensive.

  • r.i.p spitfire

  • I can fix it !?!?

  • "that hert" his wallet

  • how did the rudder fall off?

  • I can't believe those duesh bags were laughing.

  • Tape will fix that !!!

  • Good and beautiful plane..., but the crash was exceptional!

  • I will not be the first to say didnt look like a 71 inch bird. but it definitely is not 71" now. I've had similar happen. had a hinge back out and bound the flight controls in the full down position. did 2 outside loops before it hit hard. wasnt full throttle though. like the guy said though that hurt bad.

  • you idots land properly now you have ruined a good plane

  • Das Ding kannste gleich da liegen lassen..

  • как говорится в говно

  • Nice full throttle landing.

  • that looked like a elevator servo locked I had stuff like that happen lots of times after a rebuild and we forgot to check the gears by moving it and listening to the teeth to see if they grind, I personally had it happen once , after that I saught help with older long time pilots, who pointed it out, for awhile I thought it was a lock out, or grey out, now I check after minor stuff as well, I feel sorry for your loss, nice plane I hope you rebuild and get back in the saddle again

  • Another victim of the german flak... ratatatatatatatatatata

  • I hate this hobby and now I'm addicted.

  • go get the wagon haha

  • Did he died?
