Attended a lecture on it earlier today, it really has no downsides, cheaper, more efficient, faster, environmentally friendly, safer etc. The only disadvantage is the human component i.e. vandalism.
@explorer47422 Cool a lecture, I'd like to go to one of those on PRT, Yes true this is one of the downsides to the current stage of human evolution (or de-volution lols).
I believe and I would hope that the PRT system accounts for any type of vandalism, I believe it is supposed to have a triple redundancy feature built into it, so it is supposed to run like an un-manned metro.
On top of the CCTV system, a whole host of sensors would be used.
And how would this solve Gurgaon or India's transportation problems especially for the masses?
Typical big-lopsided grandiose Indian dreams for problems that do not address the lack of basic.....everything.
