So far we have had economic bubbles and crashes every 7 to 10 years, I don't feel the current system is working well. I know most our laws today are written by Lobbyists. We need Oversight, Transparency and Accountability, we have none for our government!

Who was living off their house, Most people I know used the equity to pay off medical bills and fix their car, No doubt people did foolish things but this economic disaster was engeneered.

Thanks for the guidance, I have already watched the video's and visited the websites, so I'm familiar with the vision presented, but now I am trying to find any academic studies or publications from the Zeitgeist Movement or Venus Project on the economic foundation of it's utopian vision.

Specifically, "The Economic Calculation Problem".

After all, if this has not been solved, any possibility of a centrally planned resource based economy working is zero.

I've seen it they have good points but absolute power absolutely corrupts, its a cliche that has lasted the entire human condition for a reason it speaks truth.

The want resources to be allocated by scientific committees science is a theory and approach to solving the question why.Humans, with all the pros and cons of a human. Humans react to fear and desire and they can be manipulated.

Power structure should be small, local and to a minimal up held by private property.
