  • wouldent have this problem if younDIDNT BUY A 2g

  • mines doing the same thing and mines a 420a none turbo and ive replaced everything but the knock sensor and the crank sensor

  • i have a 1996 eagle talon someone took the head off and got another good one from a junk yard... its been setting in a garage for 2 years i made sure everything was clean and nothing was warped.. after i put it together there is no compression on #3 cyclender... anyone have any ideas what it could be? idk if it was a valve stuck open? or bad rings? theres absolutly no copression at all... i put a bit of oil in the cyclinder and there is still no compression.

  • why does everyone shoot for the fucking timing belt as soon as the damn car won't start..????

  • my 1g just wont fucking start -.-

  • it looked like it was pushing compression an fuel out the top of the intake manifold, or fat vaccume line leak.

  • U all are fuckin stupid, my first guess was he had the plug wires wrong, causes the same problem, but my gsx had this same issue a couple days ago, my power transistor unit (which hes referring to here) went bad while driving and did the same thing, luckily i had a spare at home, 2 bolts later ran like a champ again. BTW for u dumbasses who say the timing was off, 2 teeth is all it would take and the thing wouldnt even turn over so STFU before u try guessing about a car none of u prolly even own

  • what transistor?

  • Haha people are saying bent valves and shit while it was actually a fucking transistor!

  • i know what the problem is...it's a mitsubishi.

  • i hav just a GS and if my check engine light doesnt come on then the car will not start, it will turn over just will not fire up

  • Actually everyone ended up being wrong about the timing. It turned out I didn't have the transistor completely pluged in.... Something really stupid but I must of accidentally nudged it off a lil when messing with the vac lines

  • @2Gsxtc I know the vid is old but nice ride if u still have it, have 2 96 GSX's myself, glad u got her fixed, luckily it was a simple problem

  • Yea, What transistor?

  • just like the guy said below me ur timeing is off bad notice the puff coming form the back is not good are u shure that u did nto bend a vale on the first start up. if i where u i would try retiming it with new belt and see if that will fix if not u may have a head issues i had them in my days with my 420a

  • your timing is definitely off

  • looks like the gsx is probably fucked!?!

  • your timeing is way out and just like auter guy said possibly bent vales and possily need a new head not to shute bout the 4g63 motors

  • like American Pusscle cars?? LMFAO!!! They are jokes.

  • Yeah, that has got to be the timing. I doesn't matter if its a V8 or a 4 cyl. That puff that came out of that intank shows that the timing is out. On those 4g63-T motors, if the timing is out on the cams, u are for sure that its going to bent the valves. But u won't knnow what ur working with untill u dig into it. Had an eclipse with a timing problem and did the same thing that your car is doing.

  • timing in ur cams

  • Sounds like your valve timing isn't set right. I noticed that something puffed out right before you quit cranking it. The old engine in my car did that, turns out the valves were bent!

  • Looks like it's not turning over complete. The valves could be hiting the piston which mean the timing isn't set up right. HELL It could be any thing but then again, it could be worst.

  • TIMING FOR SURE

  • did you just have a timing belt done? if so, this sounds like the timing marks were not matched up right when putting it back together. herad this before at least 4 times.

  • TIMING!

  • well i mean..idk wats da problem...im not dissin u or nuttin..but if i were u i wold call a mechanic instead of postin a video and lettin others to guess wats da problem.....

  • could be you have sparks plug wires mixed, your intake and exhaust cam gears notches are not matched up, your timeing could be way off, did you check your compression to see if it is even holding pressure, do have a maf trans, or stand alone, or is it stock.

  • i think its the timing..but its not the spark plug wire because if they we're mixed up you would hear popping in the throttle body
