If Watson had made the call on the first hit, none of this would have happened Brookbank can fight though. It drove the crowd wild to see all of this. Selanne is nowhere near being a big time fighter and you just know that he had had enough. You can't be a ref or linesman in the nhl and just stand around with your thumb up your ass acting like you don't see what's going on on the ice while players are taking shots at each other. That's a recipe for disaster.

The announcer is saying that 1st, there was no call on the dirty boarding to selanne which could of really hurt him, 2nd, you do not let a fight go when half a players face is bleeding out, and 3rd, the ref let another fight break loose with star players such as selanne and richardson. Refs should not let this happen.
