  • SAVE THE VOLKSWAGENS

  • Hey can you tell us where in Columbia County this was? And it's really all gone now?

  • What likely happened was when these cars went to the yard, they were at the time only worn out appliances, with little or no trade in values. There was and still is no market for 10 or 12 year old cars. So, they just sit in the yard, maybe parts are sold, maybe not. After a point enough rain gets into them, inside engines left open to where there is no hope of ever doing anything with them. They are up to the rockers in muck, most likely anything on the bottom as rusted to dust.

  • sounds like these cars fell into the wrong hands even though theyre old and rusty theres alot of history maybe the guy who owned these cars with the land passed away and the people who bought or inherited them felt no value only to scrap them thinking of recycle but why china too seems like everything made now is in china next all full scale cars will be made there hopefully not though

  • All of them... SCRAPPED?

MANY people would be willing to buy these cars! Including me!

  • no mustangs or chargers were harmed in the making of this video

  • 0:56 at least that car looks ok what id do is take pics of the inside and if de keys in the car some were than i would try to start it n if it did id drivie it out or if i cant find keys id look for the old bulidin they kept em in

  • it hurts my heart.these are pieces of history.swear i saw an old plymouth fury,(pic of the front leftside if the grille).

  • Why am I watching this? I tear up everytime I see these beautiful cars just forgotten and left out to rust

  • I was crying. when i read the comment about them being scrapped i cried more

  • Ben is so suave!

  • 9:15 = hahahahaha

  • Poor cars. Sad to see :-(

  • What I find amazing about this video is that even under 800 lbs of moss and half sunk into the ground, I can still make out the every car shown and I look at all the new cars on the highway today and don't know wtf any of them are because they all look the same.

  • ashes 2 ashes rust 2 rust

  • @OnyxChronyx maby because they are a piece of history and that someone actually road in those brands some time ago. a bit haunting to see that it is in bad condition to be forever left for wind and water to erode it :o

  • I'm a car guy...this was a very well produced video...would love to have had the chance to walk thu here to see this in person..

  • What kind of sick person would capture all this abandonment, we must be true car people to watch almost 10 min. of it. I tell you what im crying and I think a part of me is dying inside. Check out trackemdownkennels hes got some nice cars for a emotional bust.

  • where is it exactly? Because I want there to choose in the future

  • Comment removed

  • did anyone else see the gray 67 gt500?

  • Classics.. just wasted. Such a shame

  • aahhh!! There were parts for my 1957 Ford in there!! Man i wish i had a job to get parts or better yet 3 whole cars with exact same body as mine.

  • Sad to see, but great picture all the same.

  • ashs to ashs ...dust to dust

  • sad face sad face sad face fuckin sad face!

  • i bet the person that owned that v.w splitscreen campervan at 0:21 wishes he had kept it imaculate! sort after vehicles nowadays.

  • 5:40 is really crazy its like sinking

  • Were these the cars that where at the end of the rd in ranier or?

  • Great video, but what a tear jerker to see all that vintage tin rotting away like that, it looks like total swamp land.

  • How do you find all these cool places? Just drive around and look for them or do you get a heads - up on where to go?

  • Nature 's taking over , great vid and cars

  • they all look sad i want all of them at least to give them all a new life :(

  • What a great photo opportunity.... from the size of ferns & moss, I'd say this was up near Olympic Rainforest. I live in Eugene, but there is nothing like this vegetation around here. How did you find this place, or get in ? Nive video.

  • to people that restore old cars , that would have been like show a candy store to a kid

  • Poor cars...

  • ya thats fucking bull shit dame gukes and fat ass people

  • thats sad. these cars are like art

  • ill take that merc

  • lot of these parts would be in high demand in good shape, some are very hard to find.

  • Great video. So sad about the waste of great classics

  • Its a shame these cars were left for so long out in the open, if i had a junkyard most of the parts would be cleaned and stored undercover in something like a barn. what a waste of rare classic cars. some of the parts are so hard to find and yet some people don't care...wastefull? :( Derek, from Wigan Englang.

  • @derekrudd2 thats the trouble every year more and more are lost its very sad to see this but some people dont have the same love of history as most people.

  • willing to pay 200+ for vehicals

  • Cars are made to be replaced in 5-10 years. Either they get written off in accidents or go to junkyards. junkyards are disappearing too. people dont even want used parts any more. Just new.

  • i think all of these are chia cars,,

  • The moss growing on the cars is crazy . Its a bloody shame to see the old tin rotting until its just good to crush . My grandfather did the same thing with old snowmobiles from the 50's and 60's . He let them sit until they were just junk . Our buddy only got one 69 running the rest were just parts .

  • Great set of pics, Chris.

I did a similar one this summer.

What strikes me is all the moss growing on everything, really unusual.

Was this in or near a swampy area?

Lots of old cars that I recall as a young lad.

    Thanks for posting this up!

  • :'(

  • not so tuff now,now are you Herbi.

  • @BomberWeekend piss my self laughing

  • Some of those cars could make good restoration projects, but the others could be used for authentic parts for people restoring the same car, strip the chrome and wverything too far gone, just leave it for kids to trow rocks at or scrap it.

  • Where in NW Oregon is this> Im planning a road trip up the coast soon and would LOVE to get some pics

  • Those cars have turned into chia pets.

  • Those were definitely too far gone. Would have liked to dig under the seats, cash and jewelry.

  • @LoneOarman Me to man I once gutted the interior of a 54 chevy and found a few quaters under the front seat dated back to the 20s

  • who crushed these cars 4 u

  • They were all scrapped last summer. smashed flat, ground into chips bound for China to return in the form of crappy lawn furniture for us fat-ass Americans...

  • @cupdegrave no.......nooooooooooo....nooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • @cupdegrave are you serious?

  • @cupdegrave its murder, this is fucken murder!!!!!

  • You could scrap them

  • Waste!

  • Where are the places did you find all these rusted classics? I love stumbling upon these Beauties!
