  • I dig it

  • Where can I get this CD and a wide variety of Space, Garage, Psychedelic; hard to find rare bands like the one's on this page and more?? Anyone with this info(?); hook me up please!!

  • @tz88ss32vb The Pirate Bay...get on board.

  • I also wanted to mention that I still have an original copy of Moon Blood. I wore the hell out of it listening to it back in the day...

  • ***** "Mexican Summer" has Fraction's latest release. The very first authorized re-issue on vinyl, plus bonus record [10"] of un-released tracks. All others are boot-leg and are sub-standard in quality and fidelity. At long last !!!

  • It wasn't quazi-religious... it was what we all believed back in the day. Vic and Jim were personal friends of mine and back in the late 70's we owned a business together called California Sun. I wish you could have seen them perform together, seen Jim ripping his vocal cords out live and in person. They were awesome and held a room spell bound. It was pure, genius.

If you would like more personal history of the group, ask and ye shall receive, I knew them all, especially Vic & Jim.

  • @DoctorJay7 So did they believe in God? I discovered them through "the archivist", a christian-record collectors book. Did they perform a lot during this time? Did they hang out with any other bands we might know of?

  • @rootberg If I recall correctly, Jim actually knew Jim Morrison. Vic had just moved back to LA from Hawaii when the band formed. Don and Curt are brothers. We all went to the same church, which is how the band members met. YouTube doesn't allow room for an explanation of their spiritual beliefs but suffice to say, most of Moon Blood is taken from the book Revelations. Jim wrote all the lyrics and most of the melodies. Jim and Vic are still my friends ot this day.

  • @DoctorJay7 yes, please....burningrabbit@charter.net...my name is Jack, from Wisconsin.
