You would be my hero if you could answer this for me: That boat is 27 mhz correct? Which frequecy is it exactly? I am trying to find out what frequency my Nikko Aston Marin is, I lost its remote and this same boat and its remote. The boat remote could drive the car so I want to know which 27 mhz it is. I already have 3 27 mhz remotes that don't drive my car!!!
I knew so many of us have a similar hull. Do convert it and post a video. Servo linkage is the hardest part, but really it's easy: glue futaba servo, drill a hole in the rudder post, put another servo horn on top, hold it down by a screw, connect a servo rod with "Z bends" at each end and an "adjustment angle" in the middle of the rod. ESC, Battery, Receiver, waterproof everything with DAP kitchen and bath silicone and you are done!

you make it sound so easy...when are you putting yours in the water for a full run test? I await the film...
eustonianboater 3 years ago
It's been in the water already. Almost as slow as the original one :( You'd have to change motor AND propeller to go faster..

that is cool put it in the water and post a video I have a similiar hull in a 18"mastercraft "
