Another original 6 team wins end a long drought, which my hockey calculations tells me the Leafs are next, Detroit, Chicago, Boston and NY rangers all had over 35 years with no cup.This is how this works, Habs will win the cup again in 2043which brings them over the 35 year mark. Leafs are past that, so By 2017 they should win. Vancouver will win after the Habs do, but not until about 2052

Despite the dirty shit from both teams during this series, Boston played a better game. Better skating, better passing. It was like they had a magical extra player in the right place at the right time no matter where the puck was. Vancouver played like 8 year olds. Boston deserved to win. If Vancouver makes it to the finals next year and they're playing like that, I'm not rooting for them.

@Homesmoker and Bettman does not get it, that the NHL needs to limit itself to middle-market cities (with exceptions of course - such as the "original 6" which were Montreal, New York, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, and Detroit) - but Bettman's over-expansion into places like PHOENIX, the friggin DESERT, and to North Carolina where they have to drape the second-level seating areas because they can't EVER fill it so they hide the emptiness with curtains... BETTMAN IS A D-BAG AND HAS RUINED THE NHL.
