  • hahaha...i love zimbardo

  • haha i was at the talk to at the emmanuel centre. It was sooo good i couldnt resist but watch it again :P

  • just came back from his talk. such a great speaker. he showed us this video in the end of his speech which is so hilarious

  • LOL he was at me school 1 hour ago giving a talk and he showed this video. Everyone was laughing so hard~

  • Does anyone knows the name of the music (song) in the ending of the clip?

    Thanks!

  • clint mansell & kronos quartet - requiem for a dream

  • actually, the composition is called Lux aeterna, but is known best as Requiem for a dream (theme song from the movie)

  • hehehe...BAAAHAHAHAHA!

  • Legend

  • jajaja really funny XD

  • legend!!

  • ahahah!

  • Zimbardo is AMAZING!! Just saw him this past weekend at a Psychology conference!!

  • Zimbardo showed this at the end of his talk at the Western Psychological Association conference this past weekend. I was laughing so freakin hard

  • He did the same at the International Congress of Psychology last year in Berlin, quite funny indeed. The auditorium was packed to the extent that security guards had to keep people from entering (you'd think a bunch of psychologists should know butter but ah well). Because many people complained they had no chance of getting in (in fact the talk that was given before his was extraordinarily well attended, since everyone wanted to secure a seat), he gave the talk a second time the day after.

  • hehe Zimbardo showed this to us in Edinburgh just a little while ago lol, its great. Love the music!

  • you have to tell me what the song is, its driving me mad :L

  • Clint Mansell feat. Kronos Quartet - Summer Overture ? ;)

  • Hilarious, learned about this from one of Zimbardo's lectures on evil & heroism, had to see it again haha!

    Good work really!

  • Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I still can't believe Dr. Zimbardo himself has seen it...

  • he's not only seen it, he LOVES it!!

  • zimbard os amazin!!

  • GA HA HA HAHAHA HARRR! Nice idea and nice video editing you've got there. I hate to say it, though, but your voice is kind of lame for anything as amazing as Dr. Philip G. Zimbardo, renowned social psychologist.

  • If we lived in a perfect world, I would've been able to convince Dr. Zim himself to narrate... oh well. Maybe if there's ever a sequel haha.

  • @KurosenvsGrither His voice was actually VERY good. I don't know why you thought it was lame. Very masculine and gritty, if you ask me.

  • ...you do know that Zimbardo actually knows aboout this and shows it at some presentations about 'The Lucifer Effect', right?

  • Zimbardo is GOD

  • Haha, nice editing! I love it. I just got back from a guest lecture by Dr. Zimbardo, and he showed us this at the end as a sort of comical finish. So you grabbed his attention there.

  • Didnt his children commit suicide, or is that someone else im thinking about?

  • May I know what was the song used in this video?

  • Requiem for a Dream

  • Actually, it's Lux Aeterna, used in R. for a Dream as the theme song.

  • LOL!! hilarious!

  • Is this some kind of anti-zmibardo movement goin' on here?

  • Hahaha... That's great. Has there ever been a serious movie made about Freud? Just wondering...

  • you are a genius

  • The best thing is that Zimbardo actually used this movie in one of his lectures. What the hell the man is psychology legend, it is not more then right to celebrate him!

  • this guy is the devil... you can see it in his eyes when he tries to teach us something, but ends up being just creepy

  • OMG zimbardo would be the perfect action star.

  • excellent! i love how it's the same face every time. zimbardo is deliciously evil.

  • this was awesome. zimbardo is the coolest

  • Okay, this officially rocks.

  • Hahahaha.. This just reminded me of Rebecca's Zimbard-o's.

  • zimbardo didn't lose everything, he wifed his assistant after the standfor prison experiment. and hell he's not jerk, without him... we wouldnt have such wonderful findings bout roles determine people's behavior. he is god!

  • The "lost everything" line was meant to be sarcastic... I was trying to riff on some of the more common movie trailer cliches.

And I agree that Dr. Zimbardo is not a jerk- I respect his contributions to modern psychology very much.

(If I didn't like Zimbardo, I wouldn't've spent time making this trailer... I consider it something of an homage :-)

  • hehehehehehehehehehehe i love this

    and i <3 phil zimbardo

  • ur a jerk

  • What's your problem? Did he not sign your book or something?
