  • GREAT vid!! The only thing that sucked was the clicking of the camera....I found that insanely distracting....but I'm weird like that......

  • Hi michael, flying helicopters has always been a passion for me. I went to silver state helicopters to learn how to fly. i was in school for about 3 weeks when they filed backruptcy and lock the doors taking thousands of my dollars with them. Do you recommend a heli school or advise on the best way to learn to fly. thanks

  • What does "Engine Out" mean? Would appreciate any information on it. Thanks.

  • @DoBeeDoProductions Engine out means that your turbine engine has just failed for one reason or another. The engine out light at least in this aircraft and the Bell Jetranger comes on when the Gas Producer (n1) is below 55% +- 3%. When the turbine is below 58% N1 the turbine is not self-sustaining.

  • why is the left rudder pedal turned around?

  • @WNxRadeon The left pedal is turned around to take the load off the tail rotor when the helicopter isn't in operation. With the helicopter not running, the tail rotor controls are preloaded to ease the work load of the pilot when flying. If my memory is correct.

  • THANKSSSSS one of the BEST videos about how to satrt an helicopter without so many jimbo mambo amd moving the camera

thanks a lot hope you do some more!!!

  • so the rotor brake is only for stopping the blades and not securing the blades during parking? or are the rotors secured form the exterior, or is there a lock inside? next, what control surface does that trim on the cyclic control? the APU's we use at th eport are 24v for military equipment, this use regular car batteries? whats the red button beside the trim? and do you fly with such a heavy drag on the collective? lol

  • its good I knew a new information

  • Mike, Get some yellow paint and paint the interior portion of the throttle near the end that is exposed in the "detent" position, you can tell at a glance that the throttle is at the "fuel cutoff" position. Avoid a hot start from leaving it at ground idle by accident after the pre-flight check. I always check this before start up but a visual check is good too when you can see the yellow paint exposed. When you roll it on the yellow part gets hidden when it drops into the coll. handle. Mike T.

  • How are you guys being able to see this? It's Private? Going public shortly though.

  • Are we going to see you flying? POV?

  • nice I love this bladed egg!
