I listen to all forms of metal, and when you listen to black metal and death metal, there is no such thing as "alternative". The music has been around for so long that it's not a fad or people trying to be "different". If black metal doesn't speak to you, then you will never understand what I'm talking about.

I like some few BM-songs by Burzum for an example, but no I don't listen to Black Metal. I say he's both.... When he's serious, he makes some awsome, awsome music. CF's new album is incredibly unique among black metal albums, and I found it very exciting. Some of their older albums are BM classics. Sure his attempts at humor are hit and miss....I laugh at Nattefrost takes a piss....I don't listen to it, but the first time I heard it, I thought it was hilarious that he went so far as to record himself pissing. At the same time he makes some wretched shit. IE=Terrorist.
