@FBL667 Yes there is a dvd of Rigoletto with Diana from the Semper Oper in Dresden. It's with Florez and Lucic in the other main roles. There are also some clips of that production here on youtube.
@sotohum1 Well I kind of agree, her voice sounds much thinner here than normal. I'm chalking it up to the low quality mic on the cellphone that the recording was probably made on.
She's the Joan Collins of opera for me... I LOVE her in mad/evil roles, like queen of the night, or cunegonde, but a soft good innocent Gilda? Doesn't work...and that's OK!
i had the pleasure of hearing this performance live at the met... she is truly something to aspire to, both vocally and in acting ability. Her influence from K. Battle shows here...
all i can say is this: Are there any dvds of diana damrau's Gilda?

@FBL667 YES. YES YES YES... as in, I would also love a DVD of her performance, not "YES" as in, I know that there is a DVD.

@baritone426 Are you implying that her depth cannot be heard then and that it can only be seen?

you really have to see it live for the real effect
so much depth is missed in this recording

yeah I saw this at the Met as well
she's incredible, from her technique to her musicality
there's absolutely nothing wrong with the performance
