do you have a preference between 3rd and 1st POV? I find third to be very effective except when meleeing a large mob... I'm still not sure what all the benefits between the two are besides the field of vision.

FYI, when you have a word that ends in a "s", you don't put Francis's, you put Francis'

It's fine either way. The only time you don't add an extra "s" is if the word you're giving possession to is plural, such as "Those trees' all have brown leaves." If it's a proper noun that ends in an "s" you can add the extra "s" (but do not NEED to, either is correct.)
